the Senjogahara fascination is he made his own fetish, remember when she was prying into what his feteshis were and she would say he had like little sister feteshis or the marrying the sisterin law thing. his response to her was basically him saying hes starting a new fetish a Senjogahara fascination for himself so his answer is a yes to her confession

This is just wrong lol. The fascination bit comes from one of the first things Senjougahara said to him in this arc about "tore" (fascination) having similar kanji to moe, so she expects it to become a commonly used term like moe eventually. Sadly at this point in the series people don't seem to quite pick up the skill yet to remember even the most minor things characters say so this amazingly sweet way of reciprocating feelings gets lost on a lot of people.

Now that you've seen that Mayoi will still be here, I could say it, Hachikuji Mayoi is best girl (and there will be a lot of them so the competition is hard). But yeah, even if I know the show and I've seen reaction to it already, watching it again make me realise something again and again, this is really a show worth watching at least twice to notice the clues and foreshadowing.

I took the fascination catching on be a mirror to what sengouhara says about how she wants know him more and catch on feelings for him. I thought that was what was being shown. But nailu explanation is insane. and most likely the intended way that I love it.

I dunno, senjogahara fascination just made sense. the translation might not hit right "but Im fascinated with you" is how I heard it. just like she said "I'd like to learn more about you"
