Hey can you chill out with all the allusions to future arcs? It's getting kind of insane. Every second comment on yours feelings like its on the very edge of just being an outright spoiler. I think you crossed the line like 4 or 5 times already tbh. This one literally just spoils a whole arc. And I don't wanna speak of the behalf of Bluest, but it's clear from the fact that he isn't hearting your spoilery comments that he doesn't enjoy the spoilers either. It's just kinda strange behaviour. I don't even understand what the goal is except to maybe flaunt your basic knowledge of the series? If you're so eager to yap about spoilers just do it in the discord with spoiler tags.

Araragi's tree power is just him doing what Dramaturgy did with his sword hands but to a greater extent. In the Kizu novel he explains that he could only do that because the situation was so desperate and it requires great mental focus and to stop thinking of himself as a human. The reason he turned into a tree specifically is because he was always thinking life is a pain and wishes he could just exist as something simple like a tree that doesn't have to worry about anything. When he fights Kiss Shot his explanation for not using that power is because at the time his mind was closer to the human side than vampire side, so he couldn't muster the focus to use it. On another note Kiss Shot has the unique power to just straight up create matter like it's nothing. That's how she made all her clothes when she went through her various forms.

Very nice to see that you caught a lot of the emotional connections set up between the characters in Kizu! I really loved how Oshino framed his solution as a lose-lose scenario for Araragi and Kiss Shot, when to me it seemed like Oshino was the "winner" in all of this from the perspective of a "Balancer" as he had managed to subdue a legendary vampire/placade her minion and tie their fates together to keep each other in check. Real 5D chess from Oshino!

That last ending monologue from Araragi is one of my favorites that I've ever read. It's the perfect bookend to the first chapter in their story, a summary of how they started and a look at how their relationship will go from then on. Then again, the Monogatari series has several of my favorite monologues ever. Love the reactions

Just to give some other infos about Hanekawa, and spoiler free. The "ting" you heard toward the end when she talk with Araragi is her first headache, leaning to black Hanekawa first emerging. Also, the twintails could be a reference to the bakeneko, a cat yokai described to hace two tails, there is severals tails about it, but the one important here would be the fact that it is said to be abke to disguise itself as human and the more it get abused, the more powerful it get, sound familiar enough ? 😉. Also, about your comment on the fan service, i would say that yeah, looking at Hanekawa and Kiss-shot are definetly a treat with their assets, Araragi is also an eye candy, but don't forget Meme Oshino, who ever made his chara design should get a raise because this man is so damn fine (and his voice actor play the part very well). It's a good time to be pansexual with these movies, because I can simp for almost all the cast lol.

Araragi views Hanekawa too highly to think she would ever have romantic feelings for his pathetic ass, he even has a hard time understanding why she would want to be his friend in the first place.
