Episode 8 is THE BEST Edgerunners episode of either season IMO. The Maine episode is right there with it though. But wow. That episode was just unreal. Like literally everything about it was just phenomenal. I'll let the reaction say everything else.

Ep 8 goes down as my episode of the year. imo I'd even go as far as to sat Edgerunners 2 should be in the conversation for anime of the year. It's kinda insane that this is Kai Ikarashi's debut as a series director. The story is so good man 🥹.

I'm just gonna throw this in now before I watch this. You can read this bluest. **MIDGAME CYBERPUNK 2077 SPOILERS BELOW** The creator of the relic was Anders Hellman. In the game he defects from Arasaka to Kang Tao. And you retrieve him after EMPing and shooting down a Kang Tao transport vehicle with Panam. You clearly forgot about this lol. This is the event the show referenced a couple episodes ago. He didn't inherently invent Soulkiller, but he was massive in developing it and DID create the relic.

2026-10-27 09:00 Easily the best looking episode, this was insane. D going haywire was so well done (literally smited that corpo from S1 lmao), also I think Omi confronting D is a great moment. And honestly, i kinda felt bad for Yupi in the end. Although she was clearly being delusional.
