Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

hey Kai, have you watched Bullet Train? i got a recommendation recently about a video on it on YT and it’s such a blast. It’s a fun stupid action movie if you ever want a couple laughs at

Not sure if this is something you’d cover but the voice actor for Daredevil in Marvel Rivals made his own short fan film, and it has some really cool visuals in it. Like if Netflix Daredevil went full comic book style.

The Evil Within 1-2. They were created by the creator of Resident Evil Shinji Mikami. They are more psychological horror and very immersive. They have iconic enemies like The Keeper who rivals The Pyramid head in how cool and intimidating the enemy is.

I don’t know if its been mentioned but I think all the John Lewis Christmas adverts would be good to react to. but obviously nearer Xmas time. 2013 and 2015 especially.

Have you seen Fringe? That show has a great cast, lots of mystery and cool twists. John Noble’s best performance ever. Has a stellar cast. It has John Noble, Lance Reddick, Leonard Nimoy, Kirk Acevedo, Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv, Seth Gabel, Jared Harris, Shawn Ashmore, Aaron Ashmore, William Sadler, Christopher Lloyd, Brad Dourif and many more.

You should check out the Silent Hill 2 it’s one of the best games of all time

Not many people rate it, but Evil Within would be a good one to look at in my opinion

Hey there Kai so recently the movie Pan’s Labyrinth from Guillermo del Toro has reached its 20th anniversary, and since its Spooktober and the movie does have some dark themes around, I thought it would be a nice time to check it out. As always, everything handmade and with Guillermo’s aestethic with the peak of dark fantasy. Its a classic

Have you seen Spirited Away and other Studio Ghibli animes Kai? They are visually fantastic and beautiful in storytelling. Spirited Away is absolutely stunning.

Oh my God Kai, just as soon as I reach out for you to watch Combat Gods, Jhanzou provides a remaster which has so much in depth camera and martial arts. Watching it for fighting is a MUST!

Kai you should react to Top gun films as there very different pace between the old and the new one and the cinematography in the new one would be great to cover. Love the content Kai keep it up

You should watch Goku Vs Saitama by Death Battle

Since Kai likes “Who did it” stories he should definitely watch “Knives Out”

Hey Kai i got a recommendation for you, Cyberpunk edgerunners season 2 came out today and i thought you’d be interested in looking into it, one of the MC is a young kid interested in filmmaking and i was thinking your perspective on that psrt and maybe the whole season could be worth looking into?

The rocky and creed movies could be interesting. Mostly because they are awesome movies, but it would be cool to see a comparison in film making.

I have an oddball recommendation for you. If you wanna talk about pure cinema. Despite what some people have said about the game itself, The Order 1886 is incredible from that aspect

Have you played Shadows of the Damned? That’s a great game from Suda 51.

Hi Kai,

Since we’re in spooky season, you’ve probably got enough movies/games to react to, but Train to Busan could be a good one to watch if you haven’t seen it already. Also, since you’re a fan of martial arts movies, Oldboy was a pretty solid watch with a good plot. Highly recommend.

Anyone recommended “A knight of the Seven Kingdoms” yet?
