I thought the last one was fast and total nonstop action, this one said hold my beer!!

I found a game that I'm so in love with but all because of the gameplay!! I'm still in shock if I'm being honest... "Kai likes a game that isn't about story first!" Speaking of the story though, I really enjoyed what we were given. It wasn't mind blowing, lets be real but I found myself wanting to know more. That's enough! It really is and I applaud it.

Due to there being more gameplay in this video, I proper squeeze in all the filmmaking talk so enjoy!

Hell yeah but you gotta also do the 2 DLC's for the game as they really expand the story and kind of go all Infinity War in DOOM.

Yeah you've got the Ancient Gods Parts 1 and 2 DLC which really wraps up DOOM 2016 and Eternals story. Part 2 kind of goes all Avengers infinity war in parts. Big fights, Dragons of a sort and a first for the DOOMGUY/SLAYER

They're called the ancient gods part 1 and part 2 and they finish the story of the reboots. The new game is a prequel. The first thing I did was check the end of your video to see if they were included hahaha 100% worth it

You also brought up the soundtrack, the reason you dont hear as much is because of a large scandal where the game company screwed over Mick Gordon and violated his contract causing the soundtrack to get messed up in the process being very rushed and unsupervised.

I can't say much about the mix, they didn't tell us many details. Though i can say that a playthrough channel will likely turn the music down in playthroughs. (Which is heresy for doom)

Yea that's fair, I love that movie so I take any chance I get to see people talk and react to it. To answer about the sequel though, it's not very good. The narrative and respect for the original movie is just not there. It loses all sense of weight and scale the original had by making the Jaegers move faster and jump around. They feel like action figures instead of the Titans that they are supposed to be.

I've loved the gameplay styles of each recent Doom entry, while i will say i am more of a fan of eternal's gameplay. The Creative director for these games said "In 2016 we asked you to run and gun. In doom eternal it was jump and shoot. And in Doom The Dark Ages, you're going to Stand And Fight." (The Dark Ages being the unreleased one) Which i think is a perfect summary of the difference in gameplay between these two and the upcoming one.

P.S. You mentioned modding it to change the lighting in game. Depending on the time you wanna spend there is a program called ReShade actually. Which in most cases you can go in and manually adjust the coloring and or lighting for games, download other addons created by other people or just straight up download their presets. for Doom there's not a crazy amount but I did want to find one for an example if you'd like to look through his comparison pics. https://www.nexusmods.com/doometernal/mods/2 Personally I've used it for Cyberpunk 2077 and plenty of other games to make the HDR implementation so much better.

honestly this was one of the worst videos to watch for this, the combat shown was so MEH, the cool places skipped, and most importantly, the cool weaponry absolutely forgotten about

i will separate this into parts depending on the importance: combat: absolutely necessary, you have to watch some proffesional combat videos of this game weapons: the correct usage of the BFG, the complete and utter disregard for the Crucible (I will not spoil you the usage of it if you become interested in it, go watch some videos) the places: very much just for immersion and appreciation reason (and also skipped optional voice lines)
