King II: "My mask is a symbol of my pride!"

The King of Iron Fist Tournament has begun but it’s a lot different from how I remember it! Saying that, it’s made for a new generation of fighters/players and with stakes and powers as big as they are, there’s a reason everything has evolved! I’m also referring to competing IP’s too.

“Rage Arts and Heats”, these were absolute bangers and the moves themselves are as big as the first fighter’s bangers, you’ll see! I like those 😂.

Why do these moves look and feel as good as they do?

Well, like normal… let’s check out all the supers, potentially rate them along the way and find out what filmmaking trickery they’ve got going on here.

Get ready for the next battle!

Play The Tape

P.S. I’ve already shot the game movie for this and holy shit 💪🏻, I wished I covered that first before these moves because it really sets the world building foundation. However, my post watch review comments make sense from an “old Tekken player” which I think is important.

That is indeed Clive from Final Fantasy 16. Tekken 7 had Noctis from FF15. Out of place, yes. But both games have the perfect flashyness to portray these ridiculous fantasy characters with all the effects and particles. Looking forward to see the you react to the story, at the very least for the ending sequence wich is crazy. As for you wanting to play Tekken 8. Very easy to get into with the auto combo system. You can easily pickup any characters and have some fun for a while.

Hell yeah kai, didn't actually expect you to do this. Really appreciate taking the suggestion🙏

Yes. By spamming X, Square, Circle OR Triangle. The game does a simple quick combo. Each button doing a different type of combo or special move. It's been a while since I've played, but that's more or less how modern fighting games have a "casual mode" for people that can't be bothered to learn combos or complicated inputs. Street Fighter 6 also does this. Of course, these combos aren't great for competitive play. Can easily beat a noob, but they're very limited for pro players. In all honesty, you could even play through the story yourself and react that way. Lower the difficulty, mash some button and watch cutcenes at full quality.

Clive from Final Fantasy 16 is fantastic. I've been recommending you react to all the cutscenes from Final Fantasy 16, the game is absolutely phenomenal and extremely gorgeous to look at.
