My Orange Dyson headphones have been a major character/part to the channel. They are me; I am them and that's exactly what I wanted when it came to looks for the channel.

However - "A new foe has appeared challenger approaching!"

Over the last year I've had my eyes on a new pair of cans. Something next level when it comes to audio. Remember, what percentage of the moving image is sound? Let me know your answers below...

Anyways, it took me an entire year to save for these and this week I've had a chance to try them out. Editing, Movies, Music, YouTube videos and of course, some small gaming sessions.

All I can say is I've gone to heaven audio and decided to let the Mr Orenji's go. 😭 They will still be in the house so occasionally might be back for a little visit but it’s time to go to the next level. If you’re an audiophile, be it for music, gaming or whatever… I’ve found the holy grail.

Let’s put it in Yu-Gi-Oh! Terms for the fellow geeks out there.

I just looked these up and let's say I'm entirely unsurprised you had to save for these. The headphones in question are called: Audeze LCD-X for anyone who wants to see for themselves.

BROOOOOOOOO YOU GOT SOME GOOOOOOOOD ONES MATE!!!!! Holy shit these are too expensive for me but i always wanted some planar magnetics or electrostats! But to get the whole audio chain of gear to use the headphone cost a fortune.. would love to get an overview of your audio gear in your next behind the scenes video! 😊

I have a pair of Sonos Ace headphones and while it's obviously audio heresy to be fine with Bluetooth headphones they still sound extremely good.

Get some DT 770 PRO 250 ohm They're really good & sound amazing with a ASUS Xonar Headphone soundcard.

This was a lot like the situation YouTuber: CaptainSparklez had some years ago. He also had a pair of headphones that stuck with him for about a decade or so. It was also an iconic look for him, as it looks so unnatural when he’s seen without his headphones haha Fortunately he was able to get a new pair like his old ones but of a different color because the old color was not available. Eventually he was able to get another pair that were the same color as his original headphones and returned to his original and well-known image. I very well understand how it must have felt to lose something that’s been a piece of you even if it were something like a pair of headphones. On a side note, the brand of his headphones also made a special pair just for Sparklez that were in the color of his favorite sports car, because he’s a long-time user of their product and a popular user at that. Can’t wait to see the new pairs of yours!

Thanks for the suggestion but as Patrick said. I'm now in the audiophile territory. To give you an idea, I could buy nearly 10 pairs of the DT 770 for the cost of my Mr Blacks. That's if I looked up the correct set from your suggestion. That's not to brag, just an indication of pricing and where each sits.

Depends on the BT version. Some BT cans are atrocious for delay but newer BT tech is getting better and better. It's the way BT still switches to low quality audio playback and capture when used at the same time that annoys me.
