Another tick on my list done - Tifa, in some sort of skimpy outfit ✅

The reason I like it, TWO BIGGENS come to mind immediately but more than that. I love how awkward Cloud gets and I like to see how far the game developers are willing to push it. They know exactly what they are doing.

To be honest, it’s disgustingly…. GOOD! 🙏🏻

In a simple sentence, this was the Part of the video series where I actually want to buy FF7: Rebirth. Square Enix done good here and I adore all the different gameplay mechanics brought to the table. It’s so much fun to watch let alone play it! One day I hope.

My favourite, favourite part though… Even more than Tifa’s chest. Cloud jr! かわいい!!!

Final Fantasy 8 had a decent card game. That came out in 1999. That would be around the same time as Pokemon. FF9 had a less popular card game, that game came out in 2000.

Since you brought it up at the end. I am not sure if it still exists, but there was a FF16 Demo before the full release. If it is still available on PS5 you can play it for yourself and see for yourself if you like it or not. The demo has the full prologue which is around 2 hours long but gives you a good idea about the game. > Edit: I just looked on Steam. There the demo is still available

Aw they cut out the part of Red turning into a Karen and asking to speak to the manager because he wasn't allowed to participate. Advent Children isn't the same voice cast, it came out in 2005/2006. But like Crisis Core, don't do it until you're done with the upcoming third game.

Yay! It was worth the wait! Good eye to notice Clouds reaction shots. The close ups of the eye and out of place sorrow or discomfort. It's foreshadowing for sure.

the movies doesnt have the same vocie cast but they are still good, keep in mind the game was from 1997 and did not have voice acting. the movie came out 8 years later in 2005

the gold saucer is always a highlight in final fantasy, in 14 ive spent so much time there. you can play cards, do chocobo races, do jump and runs and all sorts of fun arcade games with even with other players

Fun fact: The crossing from Junon to Costa del Sol is the first time you actually see Sephiroth in the OG game.

If this game was rated M I think Roche would give us his pants xD The Queen’s blood mini game is personally my favorite minigame but you can skip participating in the card game if you don’t like it. You can opt out but will be forced into one match which you can forfeit and get slightly different cutscenes. I don’t want to spoil anything but when we get to a certain part of the game that has multiple alternate cutscenes I hope this video includes all of them and not just one of them because these video compilations tend to just go with one of them and it tends to be the least story relevant one. So I hope they just put all of them together because there are two that are more plot relevant than the others. They’re all fantastic anyway so it’d be a shame if you didn’t get to see all of them anyway.

The camera work @1:43:41 is one of my favorite scenes in the game the way Cloud comes into the background out of focus and then we switch to his pov get’s me every time x3 Absolutely would love a let’s try videos of ff7 remake/rebirth. There are two burly dudes that have filmed their reactions to scenes of this game and they are og fans and they bawl their eyes out when they get to the really sad and emotional scenes and it’s awesome, so I wouldn’t doubt even some of the “manly” fans of this game get a kick out of all the kawaii stuff.

If you’re interested in Cloud’s story and don’t want to spoil it by just looking it up, pay attention to Hojo’s dialogue, in this game and in Remake for some little hints (like the “brothers” comment). He’s a big part of the backstory there. Also, you’re right to hone in on the music, it is a major storytelling feature of this game (and award winning too). Easily my favorite part of the whole experience. Glad you’re liking it so far 👍🏼

Gotta say, i enjoy your videos so much that this part was 2h and in my mind i was like "aw man, only 2h..". Absolutely loved every second of it. To answer one of your questions, yes, pretty much all of this was in the original in some capacity, and one of the reasons why this game feels like the "mid game" part is because it is. Final Fantasy 7 Remake covers the beginning part of the original game where it sets the mood, core idea and characters, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth covers the middle part of the original game where the group leaves midgar and goes on this adventure exploring all kinds of different places trying to reach their "goal" (dont want to spoil much). With the next game coming eventually, that will cover the end part of the original ps1 game. The other question you had, Final Fantasy 16 would be amazing as well to see what you have to say about the game, keep in mind that, while both are published by Square Enix, the core development teams are different. Different developers, writers, composers, Etc... And lastly, YES!!! a "Lets Try" is such a cool idea and im 100% down for it. Anything that is new content coming from your channel, I'm watching it the first second it goes online. Good stuff!

Because I saw someone else say crisis core I'm just going to put my two sense in Crisis core does spoil plot points for the third game. It covers some events that will be revealed in part 3. So if you don't want to spoil some major parts of the plot for part 3 before it comes out, avoid crisis core for now That being said! I think while you're clearly enjoying the story and characters, you're watching this as a film maker and giving your expertise on the cinematography and filming aspects. And (at this point) you aren't playing the game like normal. And I think from that perspective it makes perfect sense to dive into crisis core or advent children afterward. Otherwise you're waiting a year or more. Of course if you want to experience the remake trilogy itself organically and don't want future plot spoiled for you that's perfectly fair and reasonable. To me it just doesn't make sense for folks to insist you not do crisis core, when arguably the focus of your channel is different than just regular reactions. It should really just be how you want to experience the content.

One of the most interesting experience Rebirth has is different cutscenses depending on your level of friendshipness with the person, you can grow it through battle synergies and side quest, choosing different answers, and even just by who do you choose to be in the main team; basically it opens up a whole possibility of having several playthroughs with a story slightly changed (like romantic interest or who is Cloud's best friend). I think they will push even more of that in the third part, maybe even major plotline changes depending on your gameplay (not just extra scenes or several good and bad endings). Recently one of the main creators said that he already replayed the third part 40 times and I think the reason for it because you have to replay and replay it all to see a different story. In this video cut it seems they focus a little bit more on Tifa, like Cloud saving her first in the beach (imagine that picking other team has a bit of different flow of events), and having Tifa and Barret in the team while climbing Corel mountains (they cut a whole dialogue sequence you could have with Aerith if she is on your team to the mountain top).

You will want to avoid the movie, FF7 Advent Children till after you go through either the full Remake Trilogy and or OG FF7. The movie has major spoilers for the the games as it is set 2 years after the conclusion of Remake part 3 / OG. If you want a good play through of the OG, look up someone's run of the Echo S mod as it is a fan voice over of the OG. Also you should watch FF7 Crisis Core (FF7CC) before the movie as it is a prequal of the OG. Though the movie was made before FF7CC.
