You asked for it, I react to it BUT!!! It’s so good, I need to break it down further with a Filmmakers Breakdown… Cheeky!

Not sure if you guys know the name but you might, currently chatting with Doug Alexander Gregory who worked on this. I’m not sure if he Directed it or not but yeah, small world eh!

Maybe go give him some love https://www.instagram.com/d_alexander_gregory/ but make sure you mention you got the handle from here so maybe one day… We could potentially interview him or something!?!? Utterly wild concept of me interviewing artist or game developers let alone finding the time to do it.

All ideas come from random thoughts right!? 💪🏻

Loving the reaction! My only gripe with this cinematic is that Blizzard don't do more of these!! They are so bloody good. An interview would be really interesting to see. Two experts in their field just nerding out over things they're passionate about, whats not to love?

If only the team that designed the game itself had half the talent of the art/cinematic teams. The series here peaked hard with Diablo 2. Should recommend going over the Diablo 2 cinematics. Should be able to find the remastered ones from Diablo 2: Resurrected fairly easily. They tell a mini story that precedes the player's path through the game. Ex: You finish Act 1, and the cinematic shows you what happened with this other character just prior to your transition from Act 1 to 2. Blizzard's art/cinematics teams have always done exceptional work. One of the best in the industry. Just so sad to see how far the rest of the company has fallen. Quite enjoyable watch as always, Kai. Thanks for sharing.

Damn i love the diablo 4 cinematics. Some of the recent games maybe lack luster, but DAMN! Blizzard do god level cinematics. I would love a whole film of this..(minus hollywood interference). I hope you cover the whole Diablo 4 cinematic storyline. I also failed to notice that steve blum voices Mephisto! Normally you can tell a Steve blum voice. Also i just saw this pop up on Youtube.. for some reason Patreon is no longer sending me notifications, yet they are switched on. Also none of them go into my spam account either.

Even if I don't care for their games they always make cinematics worth watching regardless. PS you should check out the story trailer for a game called Stranger Than Heaven. It's a prequel to the Yakuza series and it has a pretty interesting visual aesthetic. And an even more interesting celebrity casting lol.
