In the post watch review, I mention that this show reminds me of Star Wars. What I mean by that is the original trilogy. The magic that Star Wars brings and of course the FORCE!

I didn’t forget that this was Star Wars!

It’s absolutely epic to start seeing the Alliance come together, seeing those familiar browns, oranges and reds. The classic battle between colour VS black and white. Even in the aesthetic and wardrobe, Mr Lucas knew what he was doing to clever sod!

I also have a fleeting moment in this video, a reminder of what happens in Rogue one and I became immediately sad and it reminded me of a love interest or did I make that up!?

Andor is now starting to rise up and through the ranks from the sound of it. One can’t wait to see it unfold but as slowly as we can of course so we can get this show for as long as possible.

Episode 8: “Who Are You!?” Can’t get here quick enough.

Andor

YESSS after Rogue One, 4-6 then 1-3, the full circle!

Yeah that is Yavin 4, the Rebel base from Rogue One and A New Hope. Also where Andor was during that forest story arc. I don't really read Cassian and Jyn's relationship or chemistry in Rogue One as romantic personally, but they do develop a bond and come to understand each other in the end.

Ohh man, so excited for the upcoming episodes. This was the last episode that had a slow touch to it. We are now on top of the rollercoster. :-) And the Yavin 4 base, iirc from a couple of make of videos, is the same set they used in Rouge One just reactivated.

Here we go, all aboard the Andor anxiety train. The episodes from here on out are the definition of 'butt clenchers'.

Mate the next episode is about to blow your head right off. It’s genuinely a lot, so hold on to your bum.

the calm before the storm is what i call this episode

Would love to see a star wars movie series. Just to see your take on the historical nature of them.

as some have said next episode is going to be a fucking whopper, and pretty much from this point on the season isn't going to let off the gas

The night is Dank and full of Memers

Best way to think of Luthen vs the Alliance as it comes to form, he is the one who is willing to do all the dirty work so they can stay on their moral high horse, and give legitimacy to the cause once the Galactic Civil War breaks out. He also doesn't share his plans because with the numbers on Yavin growing, so does the risk. This dynamic gets more and more interesting through the entire show, from S1 with Mon and Luthen's first interactions to where we will end up in the finale arc.

Just don't treat Alien 3 as Cannon, the same way the SW sequels, Indy 4/5, Godfather 3 don't exist :). There is also only 3 Bourne movies, 1 Jurassic Park, 1 Jaws, 2 Terminator and 2 Predator films :P

Rogue one drops you off at the beginning of SW episode 4, a new hope, so it would make sense to at least rewatch that one after rogue one.

The whole set inside the temple on yavin was practical, though I'm not sure if the exterior was as well
