As much as we can learn from the past, I wonder what "modern" techniques and stories are being told today!

I will be capturing the winning movie over the next few days with the hopes of getting it uploaded next week. My editor is away on his holibobs so I'm left editing when and where I can.

Backrooms and obsession both have great filmmaking techniques in my opinion Kai, both should get checked for sure but Obsession, is a better reaction for the Patreon, so I’m gonna vote that!

Gonna have to agree with this one🫡 Both... both is good

I just watch the trailer of these movies and "Backrooms" literally looks like something from a reoccurring nightmare I've had since I was a kid😱 It would abso-fucking-lutely scare the shit out of me. That being said, I would thoroughly enjoy watching it with your adult supervision, Kai. (even though I would probably have to wear a diaper🤫)

Both backrooms and obsession I think are equally worth it giving a watch. I would say Obsession especially for its low budget and high quality filmmaking, not just in the equipments themselves but with the techniques and theory behind it

NinjaLantern53

Obsession is incredible, especially considering the lower budget!

Oh my goodness, Backrooms and Obsession on the same poll? That’s not fair Kai! Both are amazing in completely different ways. I definitely think both should be checked out, as others have said.

I can’t wait for you to eventually check out MK II. The practical sets are gorgeous, the lighting and cinematography are incredible and the fight scenes!! They did such an amazing job this time around. I’m a big score guy as well so I was really glad when Benjamin Wallfisch got to return as composer 🔥

If you want "modern" techniques Kai, I humbly request Everything, Everywhere, All at Once! I really feel like you'd appreciate the film making techniques in that movie more than most, but I don't want to overhype or pressure into it lol. Unfortunately I dont suspect it will ever win a poll either haha For this poll tho I say either Backrooms or Obsession :p

JustUman

genuinely says a lot when backrooms and obsession are battling it out for votes

Haven’t seen backrooms yet, but i absolutely can vouch for obsession!
