My Spider-senses are tingling but are they tingling for the greater good of the story or the train wreck that’s potentially inbound that Spider-Man can’t stop regardless of the amount of web he shoots!?

Well… According to some of the comments I received regarding this game that is.

You know what!? I think I’ll hang out with the best people I know, (that’s you guys by the way) and we’ll decide for ourselves. Spider-Man is my favourite superhero too!

P.S. Remember, at the end of the first series [Marvel’s Spider-Man], I said this is the best iteration of Peter Parker I’ve ever seen. We’re going into this with a positive step put it that way.

I love Peter, but Miles really shines in this game

For some context for the girl Peter says I'm sorry to, it's a detail that's easy to miss. When Harry, Peter and MJ come over to Miles and Ganke, Harry gives that same girl the souvenir toy as she walks by, and he was sitting next to her while on the rollercoaster and making her not feel so sacred to ride the coaster. So Harry was putting on the charm lol. That's why they focused on her so much. Edit: Didn't realize this edit took that part out

Hey, just wanted to comment on the girl with the teddy bear on the roller coaster. There are two scenes. First scene when Harry, Peter and MJ actually arrive to the carnival our player who is playing the game doesn’t show it but in that same scene we actually don’t get to see it, but Harry does have that same teddy bear. I’m guessing he had won it. The three of them then meet up with Miles. On their way to miles, Harry gives the teddy bear to that same girl. We then see that same girl in the second scene as you saw when they go on the roller coaster and then I guess the third when Peter is trying to save them. But yeah, if you have time check out that full scene, it might make more sense.

if your wondering why the face for mj looks different, its because they re scanned the models face to get it at a higher res but since the time they did it for the first game the model had gotten into a skiing accident or something and had multiple face reconstructive surgeries, hence now she looks different

No they didn't. I don't know where you are getting this from. It's got absolutely nothing to do with an accident. It's intentional uglification of her, that's all it is. The story of this is crap, there's not enough Spiderman in it, but since Sweet Baby Inc were involved in the storylines that's not a surprise. This isn't anywhere near as good as the first one.

Very happy to see you cover this. But I'm a little confused by the cut of the dude we're watching quite a bit has been cut and some cutscenes have been cut short. O well still looks good just looks weird sometimes. Either way loving it

That intro with both spider men fighting Sandman is one of the best intros to a game I have ever played, and the music elevates that starting sequence. This game was awesome but I can see why people didn't like it as much as the first, mainly because this game didn't have any DLC as the first one. But excellent game overall, it setup a lot of things and hopegfully the next one compensates the things missing from this one. Also since the Beyond the spider verse movie was delayed I'd assume some things had to be cut off since they connected with the movie Hope you enjoy this one

The hate this game gets is so over blown. What matters the most, the gameplay, is much better than the other two games. You know, because its a game? The story is weaker but faaaar from bad. But people site a lot of reasons for this game being bad, that are also issues in the first game. I'm glad you go in with an open mind Kai and don't let others ruin your experience. Often with games, it is impossible to make the entire fanbase happy which is why the hate boner for this game is insane. Literally no other game, even horrible games, have a terrible reception like this one does. It's baffling

See, this is a bad faith take, because your saying not enough Spiderman, where thats not even true from this first part. More Peter Parker scenes doesnt mean Spiderman is used less. Also, the actress was involved in a major accident, and had parts of her jaw restructured, she said it herself.

There's one cutscene I wish he kept, Miles and Harry meeting. I felt that was a pivotal part from the Coney Island section that should of been kept in.

Have not watched it yet, but my eyes popped out like in a cartoon when I saw the notification. There is stuff I like and stuff I don't like about the game, nuff said.

Nice reaction! I rly thing the hate was overblown as this is just as solid game as the first one. I think this game got me even more emotional, even if some story beats were more uneven. But no story is perfect and the way this story went it was really emotional and I think a great Spider-man story!

your just saying a bunch of weird buzzwords, we know for a fact that this is the case because the face model her self said so, but i guess your right, insomniac, sony and marvel all got together one day and decided that they would make the face for one of their main characters different (not ugly just different) just for the lols also the story isn't even bad, its just not as good as the first one

Andy Gillieand who does these movies, he said he cut some scenes he felt didn't add to the story, like the aftermath of the Sandman fight and them cleaning the city. But I feel Harry and Miles meeting at Coney Island is important, because now it's gonna feel weird later on.
