I couldn’t wait for this video to be over, the first time this has ever happened on the channel!

Hang on a minute, not because it’s bad… The game is doing such a phenomenal job at making me feel like I’m on the edge, my body, mind and soul can’t cope with it all!

I started with white underpants, now they are brown! See what happened here?

This is literally and I say this in the video, the scariest game I have never played!

What a gift for a fan of this franchise. What a gift to fans of horror. What a gift for gaming and gamers alike!

I’m sad when I say this because I love this game… Thank F**k it’s over….

My favourite show is on! The reactor sequence is my absolute favourite. The sound design is so beefy and beautiful. Sad almost all of it was cut for this particular playthrough. I love this game, though I've also never played it 😅 The deep lore behind the Station and how it fell into chaos long before the alien arrived is fascinating. The Alien's ai is terrifying. It has 2 ai, one that roams and one that gives hints about the player location. Like a mind and body. It learns the players patterns and becomes progressively more 'informed' as you go. It adapts. So you have to change up your playstyle or you get caught.

You don’t get desensitised no matter how long you play unless you use cheats to give yourself weapons and ammo. Playing the game you are supposed to won’t give you any mercy

The devs confirmed there was a Queen in the nest, Ripley was just lucky she didn't find her. That was the big roar you heard.

To answer the flamethrower question. If you use it too frequently the alien becomes more resistant. It eventually doesn't scare it off at all and it blows right past the fire and kills you.

Back when I first started by foray into Twitch, there was a streamer that I followed. This was like one of her favorite games. Like she would play this game repeatedly just as a casual relaxation day. You know, for fun.

Love that this game has a learning AI for the xenomorph. From what I understand, there are two AI. One controls the Xenomorph and the other always knows where you are. The second one learns the player’s habits. The more you hide the better the AI understands. So it drops hints to the Xenomorph to somewhat guide it towards finding you. So if you’re consistently hiding in lockers or under tables, the alien will start checking those more often. Not necessarily walking straight towards your hiding spot. Just narrowing down your room to breathe. Keeping the player on their toes and upping the anxiety

If you use a particular weapon or strategy too often, the alien starts to desensitize to it. The flamethrower becomes much less effective in scaring it off. Same if you re-use distraction techniques too much. Gotta switch it up.

I tried playing this when it first released but I hid under a table for half hour and was too scared to leave.. finally went back to it last year and completed it.. never again! One time is enough for me. If you're up for more horror you should check out the Dead Space remake at some point.

If you "liked" this kind of game, another good one is Outlast. There you are a reporter in an asylum, with just a camera and some batteries, in first person running and hiding from everything. Its one of the most scary ones to play, and to watch too honestly, and it will make you have your heart in your palm every single time

i dont know if you knew this but just after axel dies you can be killed by the alien if you dont shut the tram door https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Sivk97KJR4 alien earth was dog shit, because of the giant children, the best episode was when the main characters were not in it. what they should have done was the earth war.
