Seth McFarlane has a very unique comedy style. Family guy tone all over this movie. This is may be a Hela or Katy movie NOT a Chi movie. WE are gonna get Whiplash (2014) one of these days PLEASE! (This IS a Chi movie)

In my opinion the 'Ted' movie is OK but the 'Ted' TV show is incredible, would be great if we could get a reaction to the series at some point, it's not very long and is VERY funny

This movie is such a wild ride, and I love it.😅 Seth MacFarlane perfectly translated his signature humor to the big screen here. Some of the gags really push the boundaries, but that’s exactly what makes the dynamic between Ted and John so hilarious. And the best part is that beneath all the crude and pitch-black humor, there’s actually a really beautiful and surprisingly heartwarming story about true friendship and growing up. The CGI for Ted is also incredibly well done; you totally buy into the idea that he is actually sitting on the couch next to Mark Wahlberg every single second. I’m really looking forward to your reaction to Ted 2.🙂 As always, that was a great reaction, ladies.💜

I'm happy you liked this movie. At first it seems like Family Guy, and the humor is exactly Family Guy, but it has a decent story and a heart-warming ending. I'm surprised Asian Angels haven't watched this yet, but I hope it is on their list to watch soon since they watch Family Guy every week. Movie Munchies has grown so much since it started and I really appreciate the sincere conversations you have about the movies and TV shows you watch. Keep up the great work and thank you for the time you invest into your channel.

I know i gonna both laughs and be bothered...😅 I never saw the movies, but I saw the trailers and didn't like the humour in it. but after I saw some scene on Instagram who do made me laugh a little...So i'll try with you munchies. but I think I'll have the same face as Chi in the thumbnail for most of it .but clearly , I think Katie will love it a lot !!, Chi i'm 50-50. she might love most of it but i'm certain she will be disgusted by others (I'm thinking mostly for one scene of ted 2 if I remember the trailer well...)that's my bet. let's see! Don't worry katie, we clearly remember your teddybear when you did your "solo reaction" or with facecam with Ivy in your (i guess) bedroom. We saw them. And I agree sometimes, we just want to hug one to feel better. our inner child is still there. but not as the same point as the movie! thanks but no living teddybear please !! 😅 For the movie. Ok not even 3 min in the movie, we already are in the racist/antisemitic one...Oh boy... but even him saying "get lost" is funny. I'll be honest on that one. Well, for me : the "personnal story" is good! a man-child learning to grown up and letting out of his friend who keep him at a child-level while trying to keep his love with him. good story and well done for that. a very good one in fact My problem with the movie: the kind of humour in it. it's clearly not for me (And seeing Chi's face sometimes, I wonder if some were for her too....) I liked some jokes and references ! (the indiana jones reference for example) But, the sexual one was too wild, some jokes were just disgusting .the lance armstrong's testicles or the hooker who shit on the floor or how ted is "flirting" with tamy-lyn that's a no for me. I know, this is my personnal opinion based on my education and choice. no one must agree with me on that one. I just prefer wordplay, absurd situation and reference who need to think a little more than just easily going for a sex joke (some really disgusting even...) I prefer "red" humour (both of them) to this one. but some still hit. But I would like to talk a little about Ted and johnny's responsablilties in the movie. Sorry katie, Ted is not right !! He has his responsability in that mess !!! Johnny is imature and dumb, yes! Johnny is wrong in his choice, yes CLEARLY !! he's childish, can't make decision for himself and blame other for his mistake... YES CLEARLY TOO !! BUT !!! But Ted is always dragging him to make the wrong decision or tempting him to do so !! Ted may not "force him to do so" (as you said) but he clearly didn't help him to get better or make the right decision! and can we see the phone call before the party again ? "it's the cement of our friendship" , I called that "emotional manipulation"! its not like he said "ok I understand. get Lori back!" Not at all !!! he emotionnaly take advantage of their memories to have him coming!! So no! Ted was part of the probelm too. He needed a lesson just as much as johnny. Well at least he did say it himself later...so that's finally a good point for him. Bring spice in life is one thing, but tempting someone to do the wrong choice each time is wrong on so many level. Ted was not a good friend acting like he did either. For me, they're both "guilty" and part of the same problem. Johnny to say "yes" to Ted, Ted for "placing a rock on his path for him to fall" (so to speak). to grown up, they had to seperate a little. learn to life without the other. (even more when your friend is having an autodestructive life with so much drugs and alcohol, that the only reason he's not dead is because he's a damn magical teddybear !!! I think if he was human, he would be dead of overdoses from a long time! ) Anyway, that's my main though: Johnny is having trouble, but Ted is somehow part of the trouble and we can't see him as innocent in the "great scheme of thing" of the movie. Good one, stilll not sure it was for Chi this one.😉😅(neither for me BTW...) but still a good time and discovery with the munchies! Thanks for that. have a good day !!

For me, Chi liked the movie, the story and some jokes. But others were too wild for her. Just look at her face sometimes, she's clearly shocked. ( Ted having sex with Tammy-lin in the shop being the best example. She began to laughs only after the boss said "you're promoted".)

I find Chi the most mature (maybe overly mature) of the group by far, BUT im finding she is shedding a lot of her hard skin when it comes to crude movies over time. Which is good. Same as Ivy, but very slowly. I find Katy has the most flexibility when it comes to all entertainment genres, unlike Ivy and sometimes Chi who i find sometimes too 'clean', 'serious' or overly sympathetic and empathic for crudeness. (Watch Ivys Always Sunny reactions, Ivy can be WAY too empathetic for those gang of narcissistic, sociopathic idiots when thats not the point of the show. The show is designed for you to root against them.) I find Katy and Hela know when to switch it off and on when it is needed and go full goofy crude mode. Their Idiocracy reaction is honestly GOATED. All IMO, again im happy to be incorrect

I would say ya’ll should watch Family Guy, but Asian Angels is already deep into that series right now on their channel. I don’t know what the etiquette is for overlapping shows between channels that are actually really close in real life. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This was a really fun reaction to watch. I was wondering how Chi and Katie would react to the extra crude/lewd, raunchy humor of this movie but looks like it didn't bother them too much. Just loved hearing the two of them laugh so much. I also liked that this movie had a more touching element to it that brought out Chi and Katie's emotional side. But it was mostly their reactions to all the raunchy humor that made watching this a lot of fun. Looking forward to watching their reaction to Ted 2.

Oh my god. This reaction was so freaking funny. Chi singing "Wish you a Merry Christmas" and her Cheers made me smile. And 10 minutes into the movie Katie is almost crying from laughing so hard. I have never actually seen Ted 2 so I am excited for that one. Thank you Chi and Katie for this. This was a blast to watch 🤣
