I remember seeing this movie when I was around 12 and it completely changed my perspective on life. It’s rare when a movie can do that from just one viewing but I would argue this is just one of those films where its impact goes beyond what most people expected, I even read somewhere that it had a major social impact on education in India. Plus it manages to juggle so many genres and themes so perfectly to the point where I would consider this movie to be near flawless. It’s also the kind of movie where you take something new away each time you rewatch it and barely feel that 3 hour runtime. Thank you guys for sharing this reaction!

This is an intelligent movie with a powerful message. I think chi recognised the main actor from the movie Dangal or Taare Zameen Par which became very popular in other Asian countries. I think 3 places in the movie were Shimla , Manali and Ladakh. All 3 beautiful places close to the Himalayas. Hence the stunning views.

What a great movie. I do have to raise some of the same criticisms I had for RRR, some scenes feel a bit too melodramatic for my taste, and the musical numbers, while often catchy, are sometimes a little cringey. But beyond that, the film tells a heartwarming and inspiring story that goes far beyond simple comedy. Themes like true friendship and the critique of the relentless pressure to succeed are, I think, topics that resonate with everyone. And Rancho’s motto “Pursue excellence, and success will follow you” is a truth we probably all need to be reminded of from time to time. I agree with Ivy: watch this movie, even if Bollywood isn't usually your thing; it’s really good. Next week, we’re watching Conan the Barbarian, what a contrast to this film!😅 I’m really looking forward to it. As always, that was a great reaction, ladies.💜

Thank you for that beautiful discovery, movie was great even for me who is usually not a great fan of Bollywood productions. If you want another fantastic feel-good movie but this one is a french one, may i suggest 'Intouchables' https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1675434 , not to be confused with 'The Untouchables' that is an usa cop movie with Kevin Costner.

Hello Munchies !! "3 idiots" ? don't call youself like that !! You aren't idiot at all !!! 😂 sorry ...the joke was too easy.... I have a reserve.... a comedy movie that long? ("how long before it became annoying?" so to speak) Coming from Bollywood (and if you remember what I said about our cliché about "Bollywood" in RRR.... making those movie hard to take seriously, even a comedy😅) and in "school universe" (with also lot of cliché "hard to make fun because overused" If i can say so...) So, I have big reserve!! But i'm still a little curious to see it with you. Let's try it. For the movie Wow, that's a lot of sponsor !!😂 Seriously...No way he doesn't get problem with security and being sued by the company for that !! 😅 but really good acting from him. all that for a bet....😂they really are idiots !!! wow, the place is beautifull indeed. But I wasn't ready for the "race of spermatozoids"...😅 But yeah, for the "sad reality". Of course , "that's so weird", yes Ivy. it is. but see the good point, for a hazing, this one is harmless enough...(kinda, because the peeing is clearly too much). but believe me, it could have been way worse. Some are killed with those. that's why they are illegals in my country (officialy... it still happen... and sometimes end in r*pe or wounds...😨 ) Yes urine is extremely conductor for electricity! it totally possible. I know that an electrician died because of that when he peed when he worked on a pole... No joke.😅 "that's evil" but true. those birds really do that. "Why don't use a pencil?" good point !! 😂😂 the definition of "work smarter, not harder" 🤣 clearly, the definition was better from the student! I love this student! he's way smarter and intelligent! For a director in engineering, meant to create machine to build the future, he's very conservative and with no imagination. but fuuny to see a drones like that. when today they are so common. "What is this?" good question! but didn't expect Katie to not like the short under for "security" 😂 very funny chair too !! 🤣 Oh joy...thanks to the director ! he crushed him...Loved the speech of the student putting him in front of his responsability. but of course he didn't accept it ... his pride and arrogance are too great. I'm not hungry anymore !! 🤣 poor them who eat her food... Best advice on a relationship ever !! oh sh*t...."could you talk to my dad?" I loved this one even better than RRR! And like you said, sometimes it's hard to believe it's comedy when you see how they took the "pression on student" very seriously! they made comedy, yes! but when they need to do life lesson, they aren't scared to be direct! and the humour is very good. both absurd, wordplay , irony ! all is used without being vulgar (except maybe the peeing part but honestly it's more cute than anything.) And yes lot of life lesson! I agree with Ivy: a must watch atleast once!! Thanks a lot for the discovery! Have a beautifull day munchies !! PS:"Conan the barbarian" next ??!! I love your reactions ☺️ The lead actor who played “Rancho” (real name: Aamir Khan) is fully Indian. Also, the kids (who looked Asian in the movie) are Indian, not Japanese. Fun facts about India: About 3–4% of the population in India has facial features similar to people from Japan, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, etc. There are also many different facial features across the country. I understand that you might get confused or wonder if they’re really Indian, but they are. It’s just like how each state in India can feel like a different country. We have deserts, islands, snow-covered regions, lush natural areas, and more all within one country.
