Yet ANOTHER great choice ladies. It’s been a long time since we had Keanu Reeves on the channel. Free will… right? 😁

GBprime

Primal Fear next week?? Can't wait. I seriously can't keep up with all the content you and Yuna brought in. Haha (It's a good thing), loving all the work you've been doing 💪💪💪💪 Time to watch some devil avocado 🙂‍↕️

Halloween only just started, and already the horror movie choices have been epic!

This is such a good movie. It strongly reminds me of the horror classic Rosemary's Baby (which Yuna reacted to a while back) and shares many narrative parallels. The biggest difference is that Rosemary's Baby relies much more on subtle psychological terror, whereas The Devil's Advocate shifts to supernatural horror with visible monsters around the halfway mark. Al Pacino is fantastic as the Devil. I love all the little double entendres he makes throughout the film; upon a second viewing, they clearly serve as hints regarding his true identity. For me, it’s the second-best portrayal of the Devil; the top spot still belongs to Peter Stormare in Constantine, which is also a Keanu Reeves movie.😅 The ending really shows that the Devil never gives up and that vanity wears many faces. He failed with money and power, so now he’s trying fame. If you’re looking for another good lawyer movie, I highly recommend A Time to Kill (1996). It’s a fantastic legal thriller starring Matthew McConaughey. As always, that was a great reaction, ladies.💜

good reaction. :) just a question. Do you guys actually take any movie suggestions from these comments/messages at all or do you just go with what youve already chosen on your list? Just wondering, because i will stop asking for movies if so. I feel like a broken record on some of these comments asking for certain movies over and over again. Take care! appreciate you all

Oh this is a good one.

I've been waiting for your reaction to this movie since day one, I knew you would enjoy it. Katie, you should watch it again. It has so much in the second watch that you didn't realize you missed in the first watch.

So just a couple things... Kevin/Keanu killing himself at the end was the one move Milton/Pacino couldn't control because Kevin used his own free will to basically destroy the entire plan. And the wings weren't random. 😇 The Devil was originally an angel who fell from Heaven, which is why you get all the angel stuff. When his appearance starts changing and you see that other face, you're basically getting a glimpse of what he really is underneath the human form — not the lawyer anymore. 😈 And since y'all got Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron together here, put Sweet November on the list. Same two actors, different kind of movie. It's a little bit of a sleeper, but it is a good one, in my opinion. Don't look it up... just watch it. 😌🍿🎞️ P.S. Also add The Lake House to the list.

The "snake girl" you're thinking of is Medusa. :)

Chi is getting too good at figuring out the twists haha she's a real cinephile now 😂

The American system is considered an adversarial system. It's like a debate class in school, where you are assigned a position and your assignment is to make the best arguement regardless of weather you believe it or not. Similarly, in court, the lawyer's job is to make the best argument for your side, without regard to their thoughts on guilt. This seems off to some people but it's up to the jury to decide guilt, not the lawyers.

Thank you for this great gift! Watching this movie today was such an awesome experience and seeing your reactions to it was wonderful! Movies like this are very rare, so thank you for choosing this one for the day❤️

I haven't seen Chi get that worked up in a while (when he found out who his father was) 😹

Richard Scott

I’m not much of a horror movie guy but I do love this movie! Al Pacino gives a masterclass performance in this one! Well to be fair in pretty much everything he does! But this one has stuck with me! Thanks again for a great reaction 🤗

This is such a great movie! It's Halloween season, so I will make this recommendation again. I hope you consider watching it. There is a movie called, "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil" (2010). It is a horror/comedy and totally worth watching! It even stars one of the actors from Firefly/Serenity. Please, oh please, check it out this Halloween! Thank you for the great reactions!

Frederik Rasmussen

Great reaction and great movie! This was my first time watching this too and it was a lot of fun. If you guys love this movie you should consider watching the series Lucifer. It is about the devil living on earth.

Daryl 👽

Wao, that was soooo good. I remember vaguely watching this as a kid because my much older brother rented it, and being afraid. I only remember watching the beginning of it. 😆 but watching it today, that was so good. I did not expect that ending... all I was thinking was, "birth of Constantine " 🤭 Pacino's performance was incredible. That monologue near the end was so good... I definitely need to rematch this again sometime. Great reaction, ladies. Since we're on the court run, there's another great horror film called "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". A film based on true events, court/trial related...

Sean Bowden

Incest or Insects? ...It's all gross lol

chris brown

Great reaction to a great movie, one of Al Pacino best. Hope you react to The Omen (1976)

Scottish Smurf

Great reaction to a great movie ladies. Only thing that confused me was that seeing Keanu`s character was the son of the Devil, would that not make him the Antichrist? Son of God is Christ so son of the Devil is the Antichrist? I dunno, maybe im wrong lol

Dusseault Michael

This movie is like watching four different movies at the same time with so much going on in every scene and every actor almost outstaging the next and let's face Pacino with that energy it's just a very good movie. I would recommend the conjuring movies if your going to keep the Halloween theme but I would also recommend Grudge Match,Drowning Mona and Death to Smoochy if your looking for a great laugh along with Lucky Number Slevin for a thriller and if you want to fall in love Untamed Heart is the movie you need. Good luck yina I'll be checking in on ya but Chi Hella and Katie just stay where ya at Thank you ladies and have a wonderful day

httruong

Satan is a fallen angel. That's why you see him with angel wings at the end.

Chris Kodama

My favorite part of this reaction: Mrs. Lomax is talking to Kevin and tells him about her previous New York trip and that John Milton is Kevin's father. Chi is listening to this and begins to scowl and then says "What the fuck!" followed by "I curse a lot." while thumping her chest, scowls and starts hitting her legs and then punches the air and then with her hands still clinched she continues to watch the scene unfold. Don't think I've ever seen her like that before...it was pretty amazing.

Johnny S.

KatieDearest to help you young ladies along with some pronunciations Keanu is pronounced Key On New,and Your English is excellent.

Johnny S.

Johnny S.

Johnny S.

IronicallyLadies by Kevin killing himself he,s Destin for Hell, Suicide being a Sin .

Johnny S.

Charlize Theron who played Mary watched her Mother kill her Father over Domestic abuse,She,s from So.Africa.
