i'm a bad influence, make a cheese cake if it's the us mail they might be in trouble. if it's another delivery service then the law wouldn't really be involved. i think the goatee isn't helping him in the looking young department honestly, joey messing with pheobe after how big a deal she made about the night before was deserved. and him being there at the end for her was also deserved. also, the 2nd episode joey/ross plot is something cell phones have made more complicated because both of them would need to be without otherwise they just call monica and chandler. also, as someone who lives in chicago, there'd be too much light pollution for them to see much from inside the city. monica and chandler are honestly relationship goals. i think they were more concerned with face to groin than groin to groin i've said it before and i'll say it again, rachel/tag is about as bad/cringe as ross/the student a famous actor...like joey? he was on a very popular daytime soap for a bit. and also gets work fairly consistently.

As an actor, I think Tag is a bit more capable of having banter with Jennifer Anniston than Ross with his student. But I think the relationship is almost as cringe as well.

These are fun episodes. Chandler stuck in the ATM vestibule way backing season 1, is the character alone episode that comes to mind for me. This is the 2nd episode in season 7 that featured Joey and Ross. Remember the nap partners episode. It has actually been posted how many times different duos had featured scenes together, and Rachel and Chandler have the least scenes of just the two of them of any two people in the whole show. Which is a shame, because they are great together. I dont dislike Tag. He's a nice guy, I'm just not crazy about them together. I agree that Rachel just wants to be with someone and he's there. I dont think he was worse then Rachel by putting the file on her desk. She was trying to make it look like he wasn't doing his job correctly, and he was calling her out on it.

Whenever, in the past, you remarked about how fun Chandler and Rachel team ups are, the cheesecake episode is what my mind immediately goes to but had to keep secret about it until now. Personally, my favorite team up of theirs.

the closest we got to an episode like this was the blackout episode in season 1. i love when everyone has their small little storylines for the episode but it’s all connected by “everyone is up late”

In America, if a building has an elevator, then it also has stairs in case of a fire, just like you were talking about. The Friend's main building is called a walk-up, it only has stairs, no elevator. So, it doesn't have an additional set of stairs in case of a fire. The windows and fire escapes were the only secondary option available, in case of an emergency.

I love the bit where Joey pulls out his emergency fork because it implies that he’s always ready for free food emergencies. And I love a world where Joey is just ready to eat when a meal of opportunity presents itself.

These are fun episodes. I like the 2nd one more than the first. The last four feel like filler. They don't really move the plot forward. But every season needs a few of those. It's funny to think if Tag wasn't around they probably would have paired Phoebe and Rachel together. I feel the same way about Rachel and Tag. I don't feel like they have chemistry at all really.

Hehe, Tag put the files on Rachel's desk as a "i know what you did" moment. Just clarifying as it seems you thought he believed she had truly left them to him before they went back. But nah, when he saw them, he knew she must have put them there in the previous scene.

Wait do neither of them have cell phones?? I feel like I’ve never noticed them with a mobile ??? Is it a plot hole and they do have phones or I have they never actually had mobiles the whole time ? 😵‍💫 As bad as Rachel and tag are they are at least hilarious and cringe in a entertaining way 😂😂 def more banter than ross and the student Ahahaha I wouldn’t count Joey as famous since hes playing a guy in a coma on the show now 😂

Ep12 is def a highlight for me!! So funny! Yeah I was trying to do the math in my head haha I actually really liked phoebe by herself, she’s just as funny as normal which is impressive for an actor!!

The Cheesecake episode is absolutely one of my favorite parts in the entire show 😂 I know there are A LOT of funny things that happen, but man it’s so good!

Ok kinda long and you may not care, but bear with me 😂 I 100% agree about Rachel and Chandlers chemistry, and even in real life Jennifer and Matthew were very close and had great chemistry. There’s even been times Matthew said he crushed on Jennifer. Ok, so random fact but Taylor Swift recently released a song called Ruin the Friendship, that’s basically a song about a best friend she had growing up that she secretly crushed on, but they ended up growing up and growing apart. Well then she found out he passed away, and she’s written another song about him too, but Ruin the Friendship is on her newest album and she says she wished she would have went for it with him, and not cared about ruining the friendship, bc now she will never get the chance. Well someone online paired clips of Matthew and Jennifer from the show and real life hanging out and being friends and adorable, with that song in the background, and it BROKE ME. I think it was on TikTok bc my husband showed me and I don’t have it, but man it hits. If you’ve lasted this long, thanks for reading 😊

so as someone who was 16-17 at the time, in 2001 most people were still using housephones as their primary phone so not everyone just had a cellphone and if they did have one, they might not always have it with them. that's still a few years away. otherwise joey and ross probably would have only been stuck for a few minutes until they could get either chandler or monica to let them in. actually, a somewhat regular mid90s -early 2000s sitcom episode plot would be a main character getting a phone man all the bad memories of early 2000s phone plans. night and weekend minutes. roaming charges...all kinds of other messed up charges.
