I don't know who gave you these episodes, but episode 51 is related to episode 53. I think there's some confusion, lol.

Unfortunately, some episodes are partly filler

To be fair 51 & 52 aren’t manga canon

Yes, but they added some depth to the relationship between Naruto and Boruto. Episode 51 is Boruto's birthday, and Naruto made a promise, which is why it's important for episode 53.

Yeah I was confused as well why that wasnt included but I wasnt gonna question it LMAO

kind of not important now but i wanted to mention it before we get too far in the story. i saw the list you’re following for boruto and i wanted to ask if you’d consider watching eps 157-180? because it’s one of the anime canon arcs that is actually worth watching since it directly ties into the next manga canon arc and fills in a lot of backstory the manga skipped.. It has some good fights too. It’s totally fine if you decide not to watch it, though. I just wanted to mention it since imo it makes the story flow much better.

Can you remind us again when we are closer in case we forget?? 🔥🔥

I think I know why Episode 53 felt a little confusing for you guys 😅 Since you skipped eps 51–52 and went straight to the manga canon, you missed some context that connects directly to eps 53 If you're planning to watch those eps later, feel free to skip this recap. But if you're going to keep skipping them, here's the important stuff 1. Boruto's birthday - Boruto celebrates his birthday with Hinata, Himawari, Sarada, Sakura, and Mitsuki. - Naruto unfortunately can't attend because he's dealing with a serious case. - This makes Boruto even more disappointed with his dad. 2. Himawari’s birthday - Hima notices Naruto missed Boruto's birthday so she marks her own birthday on the calendar so her dad won't forget hers. - Boruto promises Himawari that Naruto will be there for her birthday. - Boruto feels he can handle being disappointed himself but he doesn't want Himawari to experience the same thing. 3. Boruto and Naruto - The next day Boruto reminds Naruto about the promise. - He even calls it a “promise between between men” - Naruto feels guilty about missing Boruto's birthday, but he's also proud of how much Boruto cares about Himawari. 4. Team 7's mission - Team 7 + Konohamaru investigate attacks around an old mining area. - They discover that a White Zetsu is responsible. - They defeat it and learn that Sasuke had previously destroyed the other White Zetsu there using Amaterasu. - This particular White Zetsu had survived and remained hidden. 5. Sasuke's secret mission - Konohamaru tells Sarada that Sasuke has been investigating the remaining traces of Kaguya and the Otsutsuki. - Boruto learns that Sasuke is someone who possesses power comparable to Naruto which immediately makes him curious about him. And this leads directly into Episode 53. So when Boruto gets angry at Naruto, it's not simply because Naruto is too busy being Hokage. From Boruto's perspective, Naruto made a promise to him and failed to keep it. But from Naruto's perspective, the White Zetsu situation are obviously not things he can casually ignore. So honestly, both sides make sense. That's basically the missing context from Episodes 51–52! 😄 This is also why I personally think some of Boruto's anime canon episodes are worth watching. They add smaller character moments and world building that can make the manga material hit differently. Hope this helps clear up eps 53 for you guys 🍥🔩

I think the older mitsuki body rejected sage transformation (because its embedded into them) thats why there's two

When people judge Boruto, they should watch it from Boruto's eyes. He doesn't see Naruto as a hero god, that is world savior, that had incredibely journey as a person, that faced hatred and beat it. He is a guy that was there for him and now he's not. From Boruto's perspective he's not a good father, and he has every right to feel that way.
