CYBERSLAYERS 0.5.1 Status Update Episode 1 : Prologue / Hotel Area and Kassiah introduction (Patreon)

Here is a summary of the next update in the “small update” category.

As announced, this next update will be available in the coming weeks.

It focuses on adding small scenes and random events, the details of which are provided below for each area, as of today.

Random events and scene additions can be minor or progressive. These elements will enrich the game in general as soon as “Free Roam” is unlocked.

They are designed to be immersive and progressive, depending on Aline's skills and traits.

They're are for the most part repeatable and can change depending on your choices and how you "shape" Aline.

Here are some details :

METRO STATION (Intro) and HOTEL AREA

You don't have to restart a new game in the next update but if you do so, you will be able to have a more elaborated event with the workers at the Metro Station, during the prologue.

As soon as you start the game, there are a few new dialogs and scene with the workers

There will also be a more elaborated crosswalk event as soon as you are in free roam mode so do not hesitate to come back there to see how Aline reacts to some man approaching her in the crowd. Traits and skills are used in some interesting way here.

An evolving random event can be triggered during crosswalk to see the Taxi Driver Joe

THE HOTEL

Things are about to get more interesting in the hotel, a place that's already pretty creepy with Fred around.

Here, the dynamic will evolve a little more with an improved pentagram of arrogance that changes depending on the nature of your relationship with Fred. You'll be surprised by the possibilities here.

KASSIAH INTRODUCTION

Kassiah now has a more polished introduction with some refined dialogue and greater immersion in the Lusty Bar and Falgar the Fat Ghoul's lair.

The scenes with Falgar feature new images highlighting Kassiah's arrogance, as well as new lines of dialogue. Once again, this is interesting to discover if you want to start a new game, even if it's not mandatory.

A new picture here for the public phones. I'm adding more details there and there, it can be sometimes only a picture but it's contributing to a better immersive feeling

THE LUSTY BAR

The place is now very more immersive in my opinion. I know the workers event here is very appreciated so I decided to add some scenes and dialogs with an opening for more scenes later in the game. Choices will definitely matter for later.

Kassiah should comme to investigate more there in a next update.

Lighting has improved for new pictures and poses/ angles
