Charles Hoskinson is the CEO and Founder of Input Output Global (IOHK), the company behind the Cardano blockchain, a proof-of-stake platform hosting the ADA cryptocurrency. A mathematician by training, Hoskinson co-founded Ethereum in 2013.

He launched IOHK with Jeremy Wood in 2015, raising $62 million in a 2017 ICO for Cardano, initially targeting the Japanese market before global expansion. Hoskinson advocates for decentralized governance, as seen in Cardano’s 2024 Voltaire framework and 2025 Wyoming Integrity PAC to challenge state stablecoin policies.

His ventures extend to longevity science, with a $100 million investment in the Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic in Wyoming, and quirky pursuits like glow-in-the-dark botany and a 2023 Papua New Guinea expedition for extraterrestrial objects. With a net worth estimated at $1.2 billion, he owns an 11,000-acre Wyoming ranch and remains a vocal critic of centralized control in crypto.

Very interesting 👍 ⚠️ He kinda OMITTED THE USA, when he said that the NSA was storing all digital traffic (that includes our voices on our phone calls, and it's not just "encrypted" traffic, which he used to qualify) in the facility in Bluffdale, UT. That place is only about 15 years old, but they've been doing it for at least a decade before that. Confirmed by NSA WB, Russell Tice, who was also a source for James Risen's Pulitzer winning work on Illegal Domestic Spying, in 2004. When #Snowjob brought out those documents (which were then sold to billionaire Omidyar for a 2bit news outlet aptly named The Intercept, and then, after dribbling out "call logs and metadata to saturate the news cycle and cause my neighbor to say "I don't mind. I'm not doing anything wrong." 🙄, all further investigation into the cache was defunded.) ...when a few of those documents were initially made public, Tice was vindicated (after suffering retaliation from the government) and felt like saying a little more. Specifically, that he held the orders in his own hands, to "target" (inspection, not just collection) candidates for SCOTUS, POTUS, Congressional Committee Chairs, Hollywood, and "heaps of lawyers and law firms". He said that in June, 2013. So, it's not just foreign governments that are spying on and compromising anyone with power in the USA. ⚠️

If you would, please continue to make an effort to interview those founders of cryptocurrency and stable coins. One fact is that stable coin founders have been found swimming fully clothed dead. You threaten the dollar and or free energy people always seem to end up swimming with the fishes. An interesting founder who just had his case dismissed by the SEC is Richard Heart.

Loved this interview

Robert Diggins

Really enjoying his discussion of consciousness 👍👍 Integration of new information and experience is an ability to preserve, like a monument to liberty. Without it, we are parrots in cages of belief systems. And, on the other hand, cognitive dissonance, which is overcome when learning, gets a bad rap for keeping us from considering new things. It deserves respect as an essential defense mechanism a reminder that critical thinking is necessary, so we don't jump off a cliff and expect to fly just because someone told us so or it was in a book we love to reference and frame our experience. I appreciate his ability to discern rational reasoning and be comfortable with not knowing or acting as if he knows all the answers.

Charlie’s shirt is killer. What a brain though, holy crap

He's lucky he didn't do that right of passage in Paupa New Guinea. I read an ethnography about the tribes there 35 years ago and I distinctly remember their manhood right of passage being pretty brutal. It started with rolling up these sharp leaves and jabbing them up your nose until there was plenty of blood and ended with a semi-faux battle with the boys going through it from another band or tribe. Running down the hill to the battle, already bleeding profusely and beating each other up on the designated battleground. I don't think they were meant to kill each other, but it was brutal. I think those adult warriors would collect the heads of enemies, but it wasn't wanton killing. It was honor killing and fairly rare. Man, just reading that book was a rite of passage 😂. I'd already had enough of violence by the time I was 15. Since then, I've only broken up fights. But, Gillette isn't too far from my hometown and I am interested in inquiring about being involved in one of his studies. There's a place in Rapid that does stem cells from your own fat and the process doesn't ever expose the cells to the open air. I'm very interested. Also, that mind mapping software is a good idea, as well as journaling. I think that, when you get ideas out of your head, in audio or writing (or maybe even abstract stuff/art & music), it allows you to read/hear it from the external world and then your whole brain can process it, through whatever that pathway is, instead of it staying in your mind only internally. I don't know the details, but that always made sense to me. I don't think we will achieve the knowledge desired with AI and genes. There's too much background noise of bacteriophages that are constantly around us, with some set of them traveling right through our inate immune system, probably in the gut, where it's just one cell wall thick in places. But, these travel throughout our bodies and affect our development and lives. We are very much connected with the outside world and virology is making claims that are on a shaky foundation. IMO, the RNA virus pandemic was just narrative, with all cause mortality already accounted for by the population pyramid (boomers aging out) and the sculpted opioid deaths. The CDC Crackdown put an entire population on the streets, overdosing from heroin and then there was a very weird coincidence that the main death spikes from the "pandemic" were over, during the year we left Afghanistan, and the news was saturated with fentanyl and other synthetic concoctions. I don't think the criminals with power in our own government, who brought in the heroin on mil planes into hub cities like Chicago, would have any ethical problem providing the fentanyl precursors to the cartels. But, maybe the China narrative also has legs. I've seen more evidence of the "call coming from inside the house" 😳 narrative. We had a crisis in providing for the aging boomers, and, as we have seen, a REAL DESIRE for as many human DNA sequences as possible to feed the AI, because they think they will have all the power once they get their Chess and Go machine learning to take on the game of life. And all it took was a bunch of drive thru windows, some extra long Qtips, and a non-specufic PCR test, to collect millions and provide the false positives as needed for the pandemic narrative. The problem is that there aren't any deaths left, after the aging boomers and the opioids. They also murdered some people with too much pure oxygen, ventilators, and not treating anyone with antibiotics. I don't think everyone was in on it. We are a country of authoritarian followers and am hardly any independent doctors. Everyone wants to keep their job and, as it has been known to work in the past, THE LIE WAS TOO BIG. The shots were mostly placebos, with a relatively small portion of the lots containing clones of infectious DNA from another animal. That's a standard research procedure, called Transfection. Both sides of a heated debate were scripted, limiting the discussion. I was fooled, because of the quality of acting. The main 2 shot callers in MAHA are Dr. Malone, connected with the Pentagon, and the former research director of The Human Genome Project, Kevin McKernan. ⚠️ I'm still learning. Maybe I'm totally wrong. Check out the numbers. Thanks for the thought provoking interview. He seems like a good guy, who's still learning. 👋 ADD: I forgot to say that the CDC also quietly reversed their population blanket prescription guidelines in 2022, another part of that coincidental year. "I guess we really should treat patients as individuals." 🙄 (With the most regulated DANGEROUS medicine around. Blanket guidelines were NOT EVEN STUPID - THEY DROVE PATIENTS TO DEATH OR THE DEALERS AT THE METHADONE AND SUBOXONE CLINICS, WHERE THEY WERE SENT, EN MASSE, AFTER FAILING A 90% DROP WITH A CRYING DOCTOR. They've known about the 'POPULATION BOMB' for decades. That's even a book title from the 80s or 90s. And they started raiding the Social Security fund in the 90s, to pay for OTHER SHIT. They never put it back. Our population birth rate implosion doesn't help (many countries around the world too) and that FAD titled "feminism" wasn't helping women, attacking their protection in EEO Statements, Title IX Sports, and more birth rate attacks.

Listening to Charles was an absolute delight. Thank you for bringing him on

ADA has been my longest hold. Its vehemently attacked yet the community has held out because of its core values and Charles being who he is.

Shawn S

Shawn, I can’t believe you are leading your followers on this channel to this man. you got fooled and now you’re passing it along to everyone.

Nicoli7153

What a fascinating and thought provoking interview! Whole norther level .... actually several levels!!!!

JIM NEWMAN

You would need 18 hours to get out of Musk what Charlie gave you in 6 !!

Jeannette-Maree

Dripping with to easy-to-understand information! Thank you Shawn for choosing your guests wisely!

Jim

This guy is very smart and interesting... I just pray he solidifies his faith in Jesus Christ and the fact that there is only one God. He is missing the mark pretty badly on what happens when we die.

Jimmy Wusinich

Salvia is smoking fear. 😂 . I’ve never been more terrified . I couldn’t speak, couldn’t remember the day, time, my name, the people in room with me. I was pulled into the couch while not being able to move. Walking feels like floating. Wouldn’t recommend it.

weighthead84

Charles is right around the top of my list of people I'd love to sit around a fire with, and get high. In no way could I keep up, but holy cow the dimensions we would get into.

Isaiah Holland

😪 no one is sent to hell for not believing. They’re sent for sin. Fundamentally, the alternative is to say all are forgiven which they are not. Witches be witch in’

Shawn, this guy is the Brightest guest you’ve ever had on your show and it was very enjoyable. He’s Brilliant, only slightly nerdy, yet very funny! 😆

Ksg Sherley

This guy's so bright...how do we know he's right?

Chris Kanengieter

I thought the lack of self awareness was pretty funny. He talked about how religion is a mental circle jerk while going into his own mental circle jerk.

Bridget Stevenson

Love to follow that tether. INCREDIBLE. NEVER long enough @!

Kharmahasinsta

Charles is a great guest! Can’t wait to see how his new business works out. I wish I could wrap my head around crypto.

Seth Moore

Who the heck is Seth? And what was I doing with that donkey!? 😂

Very entertaining interview. Had me listening the whole 5 hours
