I would hunt Elk. The meat is excellent and there is enough hide to make clothes, bags, lashings or many other items that make life easier.

Why are you asking this question? First thought. i haven’t been in the position to take the life of any creature. This is what I do know, i would not waste any part of the animal whose life I was forced to take. My mom grew up on a farm in the 40’s, I have heard the human way of taking an animal’s life. Humans, are just disappointing. The only mammal, unless brain trauma, that would have the intention-by desire alone -to kill another animal then of course human. Figure this sickness out, would be like a falling row of dominoes…. Leading to truth.
