Hello Tiers II and III,

In this video I run the 25 yard pistol drill from earlier this year but now from concealment. Remember, when you do this one focus on being fast where you need to be and take your time on sight picture and trigger press.

Going to be filming more drills soon. This is one to practice to work up to what's coming.

As always, adhere to all firearms safety rules and range commands/protocols at your facility. For more info on safety, see https://www.nrablog.com/articles/2015/7/the-rules-of-nra-gun-safety/

I know you didn't leave on a bad note! Awesome vids Shawn, sure appreciate them. Hope you & K are doing well! Hey, did you get any helpful advice concerning your cock? If not, the wife said she's "raised" one for 24yrs. Lol - be safe!

LionOfTheMorning

Reminds me of Wyatt Erp & what he said about fast draw.

Chuck Kegley

This really helps. I have been rushing the drill and it just becomes a cluster..

Chuck Kegley

And, the slow is smooth, smooth is fast is a good thing to remember building muscle memory. Thanks again for everything.

Abominator

Heading to the range to try this out tomorrow. Looking forward to that sweet 1st double action pull on the P226 :)

Tim Hartmann

I assume you keep your shirt tucked in and not over the weapon as well so it does not interfere with the draw?

Everyone wants to go high speed as possible. That's natural. It's good to get those slower reps in and build speed gradually. Keep at it.

Shirt tucked in or tucked behind the holster and not over the gun. That can be done but requires the shirt pull of the IWB. Jackets, flannels and dress shirts make CCW easier.

Another great one, Shawn. SIS, SIF. Need to remember that. Also need a timer, and to get my butt out to the range! And...BTW...wish I had a back yard like that.

Thanks! This one's a tough one but will get solid training in. I can't wait for the leaves to go full Fall mode here. Any day now.

Hi Shawn - Great drills and thank you. Really enjoy the lessons. Could you do something on "close quarters" Like 3' -while under duress (maybe not even on your feet). What are your ideas here? I know maybe it's just get a round out and in, but the scenarios I picture myself in are not going to be anywhere near 25 yards. Probably under 5 yards and indoors.

Awesome video brother. Its ashame. With the Ammo crisis. Hell i been lacking at the range trying to conserve what i have. I know its a very bad habit to have.
