I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but god DAMN I love this show and also these episodes might be some of my favourites as well!

When these two episodes originally premiered on TV, Nickelodeon aired them together as part of a a special, called Secret of the Fire Nation. For some unknown reason, Netflix stuck to this. It does this a few other times too. It's bizzare.

Btw,in some previous episodes we have already seen this pregnant woman with her family. I don't remember exactly when, but I think it was when Zuko was robbing people in his blue spirit mask: he was about to rob them, but then he saw that she was pregnant and left I love how in this show and also in FMA:B no character is wasted - they always come back at some point in the series I also just love how much you root for Sokka and Suki 😆

aaand you're god damn right about it! Ain't nothing gonna top some Sokka x Suki action :D Such a wholesome but also COOL pair of episodes. Team fearsome foursome (?????) let's goooo Also please don't stop yapping, I really appreciate your input. 🙏 And if you want my two cents about what you said at the end of the reaction... don't stress too much about it, Korra is really good. Some reactors that I followed a couple of years ago were on the fence about it because they've heard some mixed things about it aswell ... and they all came to really enjoy it. It doesn't top ATLA (i mean let's be honest, is that even possible? ATLA stands on its own pedestal but that doesn't mean everything else has to be trash right) and it's quite different (years have passed, different times and stuff... I think you get it) but it's still a GREAT show with really cool characters and each one has their own struggles. I think there'd be a lot for you to talk about as it basically continues the story and covers some interesting - even existential - topics. I remember when people really hated Korra as a character (female avatar, not quite on the stereotypical "feminine" side, basically going through puberty... do I need to say more?) I feel like a lot of the hate is forced and to some extend rooted in the fact that it's just not ATLA 2.0. I felt the need to say this because as someone who really enjoyed both shows for their very own reasons I always get stressed when people say they heard some bad stuff about it and are not sure whether they should even bother watching it... 😣 And about Movies... I think the movie that was supposed to come out this year was postponed to october 2026. ANYWAYS, can't wait for the next episodes, as always I'm enjoying every second of it

It was in the episode Zuko Alone! One of my favorites 😁

Oh, and to add, on the movie front, don't watch the M Night Shamaylan movie (2010). Unless you would like to just laugh and eyeroll the entire time lol. The Netflix live action has been greenlit for 3 seasons. Season 1 is out currently. There ARE comics that take place after the series, if you're interested. Made by the series creators. And personally i liked Korra. It's for a more mature audience, like the kids who grew up on ATLA and were older by that point.

Not the “damn I’LL write the fanfic if I have to” SO REAL THOUGH suki best girl fr I love how even though Sokka is often used as comic relief, he’s not only reduced to just being a joke character. He has depth and development and I think his arc here of not feeling like he’s strong enough to protect Suki is really interesting and a valuable story to tell Also side note, but I just know that if I watched this show when I was the intended age to be watching it, I would’ve wanted to BE suki, kid me would’ve adored her (still do LMAO)

I will ALWAYS keep yapping man! Thanks for the love, bro! And thanks for your input on Korra too! Getting other perspectives is always a lot of fun, so I'm glad to know some of you would be interested if we peeped it!

Ah thanks so much for that bit of info! That helps so much haha

Korra is a trash show by the way. Absolutely spits on the legacy of this show with some of the most atrocious writing I've seen put to screen. I'm most hurt by it because ATLA is literally one of my favorite shows of all time. I desperately wanted Korra to be good, and walked away some of the most pissed off and disappointed I've ever been in my life. Complete betrayal.

The movie.. *sigh* honestly I saw it once when it came out and never again lol But the live action that Netflix does I would definitely recommend checking out! There is the first season/book out so far with 8 eps and as far as I know they're already filming for season 2 and 3! ^^
