there can be absolutely no doubt that aurora is your daughter. the way both of you absolutely refuse to go to bed. i spent the last hour trying to coax our daughter to sleep after my parents managed to completely throw her routine into chaos in the few nights she spent over there. just when i thought i’d finally gotten her to bed, she turns up at our bedroom door and crawls between us. theo is fast asleep in his connected crib, the only member of this family who seems to actually want a bedtime. as soon as rora is snuggled between us she demands another bedtime story so she can go to sleep. apparently you want one too. she wants the three little pigs, but the only rule is it can’t be the way i usually tell it. give me a minute to figure out a new twist on an old tale.
