it’s late, we’re both in bed, my phone charging on your side because you have the good cord. we’re chatting about our day when my phone vibrates and i ask you to reach over and get it. you take one look at the screen before you look at me. your face says a thousand words, none of them good. for a second i’m worried, until i realize the reason. it’s not the sender, you saw my lock screen and are displeased. not because it’s you, but because it’s not the right picture of you. for some reason you don’t think i picked a cute enough picture. i disagree but i might be biased, i do think every single picture of you is adorable. either way, it looks like we’re going to be hunting through my camera roll for a suitable replacement, however long that takes.
