💎 What this Vortex extension does?

This extension adds full support for the latest Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition mods. It comes bundled with an integrated .core and .stream file packer, making mod deployment seamless and efficient

⚠️ Extension limitations

Save file installation is not supported.

Reshade presets are not yet handled by this extension.

ℹ️ Compatibility & known issues

This extension share same "mods" folder with HFW Mod Manager, so its recommended to clear this folder before using it.

If after mod installation Vortex gives you error notification "Deployment not posible", thats means "mods" folder not exist in your game folder.To fix this issue just open your main game folder (Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition) and create new folder with name "mods".

🧺 How to install extension to Vortex

If the Mod Manager download fails, you can install it manually. Go to the Extensions page (accessible from the left sidebar), then drag and drop the file into the Active field located in the bottom-right corner

🔧 Installing Mods

You can add mods either by using the Mod Manager Download button or by downloading them manually and dragging the files into Vortex.

After building your mod list in Vortex, don’t forget to launch ModForge. This will pack your selected mods and deploy them into Horizon Forbidden West so they’re ready to use in‑game.

To launch ModForge, simply follow the instructions provided in your Vortex notifications, or access it directly from your Dashboard > Tools section.Within the Tools section, you’ll also find a dedicated button to recover game files whenever needed.
