Vortex extension for HFW: ModForge v0.0.3 (Patreon)
Content
ModForge has finally leveled up!
To everyone who’s been patiently (or impatiently) tapping their keyboards, I owe you an apology. Yes, I promised this release earlier… but let’s just say the upgrade quest had more plot twists than a Horizon Forbidden West side mission.
The good news? Those delays weren’t just me staring at my black-out PC and crying into my coffee. The extra time and my laptop extra battery power let me sneak in some shiny new features—like the all-new “Conflicts” page (because mods love drama) and a refreshed button design that’s so clean it practically sparkles.
Thank you for sticking with me through the grind. Your support means the world, and now you get to enjoy the fruits of my over-caffeinated labor. Go ahead, install the new version—your mods are waiting to strut their stuff.
So what do we have on board?
Dedicated control page "ModForge" with Quick Pack and Game fast launch button in the center.
The newly added "Conflicts" page, which lets you spot conflicts and disable them in one click straight from Vortex.
Saves mod support with automatic backups and a separate page for saves preview/control. You can rename them with custom titles that will appear in-game.
So, what do you think—does this project have the charm to rack up some likes, or should it be tossed into the digital abyss alongside abandoned save files?
Drop your fair review and honest thoughts here or over on NexusMods, I promise I can handle the truth (well, mostly). Whether you think it’s a masterpiece or a “modest mod,” I’ll be glad to read your feedback. After all, every comment is XP toward making Horizon universe even better.
Bonus tips:
How to install Non-Nexusmods mods to Vortex? Very easy, just drag zip archive over the drop-in field.
How to change ModForge tool background: open ModForge folder located inside game root and replace image file with name "background" for the image you like. (make sure to rename your new image to "background")
