Personally, I think of the Serendipity video as one big metaphor for falling in love and all the emotions that come with it. Jimin pricks himself on the cactus because there's a risk of getting hurt when you open yourself up to someone. He tries to hide away under the blankets, tries to hide himself maybe because he's scared - but falling in love is inevitable and destined to happen. Like the eclipse, it's a predestined rare meeting where everything just falls into place. The sun and moon becoming one ("You are me, I am you"). The eclipse happens right as Jimin literally falls. His whole world starts to shake because falling in love is scary and changes your perception of your life ( "The whole world is different than yesterday"). But even as his world shakes, Jimin smiles because the change is welcome. Feeling love for someone else is thrilling and Jimin is happy to fall.

When it comes to calico cats, it’s generally difficult for them to be born due to their genetics, and as you’ve discovered, it’s extremely rare for there to be MALE calico cats. When Jimin sings, “I’m your Calico cat, Here to meet you,” I think he’s referring to the fact that he, too, by sheer chance, defied all odds and came into existence for the sole purpose of loving and getting to know that special person (in keeping with the song’s overall theme that everything was meant to be)

I’ve always felt like Euphoria, Serendipity and Epiphany are connected, and when you look at the BTS Universe, they really do feel like pieces of one bigger story. Euphoria is about finding happiness and that feeling of being complete with the people who matter to you. Serendipity is about finding that connection that feels almost destined — like meeting someone who was meant to come into your life. Then comes Singularity, where things start to fall apart and you begin to lose yourself. And finally, Epiphany. Jin realizes that after spending so much time trying to save others and looking for love outside himself, he also has to learn to love and accept himself. So to me, the journey is basically: Euphoria — I found happiness. Serendipity — I found love. Singularity — I lost myself. Epiphany — I found myself. And that leads perfectly into Love Myself — the real answer to the whole story.

And this is for Charlie: The easiest way to understand Euphoria is that it represents happiness, youth, friendship and that feeling of being truly alive when you’re with the people who mean the most to you. The video shows the seven members together, having fun and enjoying those moments, but it also deliberately mixes in scenes of each member's struggles from the BTS Universe. So there’s a contrast between the happiness they share together and the pain they each carry individually. Jungkook is at the centre of it because Euphoria is presented through his perspective. I got stuck on the fact that Charlie said antibiotics are used to treat viral infections. No, antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections. Penicillin was considered a miracle drug when it was first discovered because of its potency and effectiveness in treating bacterial infections. Penicillin was discovered by accident. I know you guys are really excited about thinking serendipity is for army, but it’s totally not lol. It’s a love song for Jungkook. And before anybody wants to throw hands, there’s proof. The date in the bottom, left-hand corner of the screen is not the day the song came out. It’s Jungkook’s birthday. Jimin’s very first line is “this is not a coincidence”. So don’t listen to me, listen to Jimin. And him and JK do that thing where they say, “I am you, you are me.” and poke each other‘s fingers all the time. They just did it recently at one of the American concerts. They got it from this song. Jimin‘s serendipity is finding love when he was looking for fame. I heard earlier that Serendipity is about falling in love, taking risks, and the desire to lose innocence or virginity. This coincides with the book Demian, where this specific and natural moment in life is discussed. Also, in the video, we can see metaphors previously used to represent the loss of innocence, such as when Jimin is sitting holding a yellow balloon and suddenly lets go and allows it to fly away.

On one of his Petri dishes, where he had been growing Staphylococcus bacteria, an unwanted blue-green mould had appeared. Most scientists would have thrown the spoiled plate away. Fleming nearly did—but then he looked more closely. Around the mould was a clear circle. Everywhere else, the dish was crowded with bacteria. But near the mould, the bacteria had vanished. Hence, the blue mould, that he [Jimin] talks about here is refering to the effect of penicilin working to stop the infection from spreading, or the person is his 'pencilin'; a cure to his sadness, a cure to his loneliness. It earned a noble prize 1945 after it cured a bunch of soldiers in the world war, it was a life saving medication. Medicine wouldn't be where it is without it and we wouldn't be able to cure a lot bacterial diseases to this day without it either. So thank goodness for that 'happy accident'. Epiphany and Euphoria MVs are part of the BU. Basically, the Epiphany video represents Jin being stuck in the loop of going back in time and losing himself along the way trying to save everyone. If you remember, the BU talked about finding the Map of the Soul, which is also referred to at the end of the MV. In summary, the Map of the Soul is to love yourself, all of it. Which is the epiphany he had: in order to save and be there for others, he has to love himself first.

I don’t remember where exactly he said it, but there was a video at the time where he said he wanted an MV just for himself, but the company refused and included the other members with him. As for the compilations just search on YouTube and you’ll find it on Bangtantv

guys the cosmic cat and all the extra stuff was part of spin offs and games for the bangtan universe, that wasnt stuff bts included in the musical side of things. the BU has more of a clear universe without a lot of the extra stuff included in the game, and you can find most of it in the musc videos, and the book/notes. the core essence of the BU has always been very true to themselves, and their message of youth
