In Merryl's defense it's not *her* fault that things went off the rails. She did what she was supposed to do -- find mortals with potential and offer them contracts. And apparently both of these Golden Contracts were approved from the very high top on -- you don't *get* much higher on the totem pole than the actual Fates.

I have a little difficulty at reading the files 'cause they are quite heavy and slow to load. I noticed the pages are quite enormous for a 1080p screen : pages shown fullscreen-width (1920px) are only zoomed at 50%. I mean, we are no professional printers, we might not need such ultra-HQ file for reading ^^;

Utterly epic. Such a good conclusion to the first book. Reallg enjoyed this and can't wait to see where the story takes us from here. How much do you have planned in advanced with this (and your other works too)? Do you have events you know that will happen but don't really know how the characters will get there?

This is awesome! But also, I love love that last panel. Throughout this Bauphette has been such a badass dealing with a bunch of pain in the ass cubi, but in that last panel, she's not a divine being, she is every parent who fears for the child they love.
