'You decide to enter the duct.  You head to the other end and look out.  There's a door just to the left.  To your right you see a panel at the hall's end that you usually see next to doors, and a vending machine near it.

You don't see any beings.  If you exit you will be close enough to the door for it to automatically open.  If it does not open you'll hurry to the right.'
