This business is so fun sometimes.A HUGE thank you to everyone that has already signed up in the last hour. Your support helps keep things stable here when YouTube decides to change things on a whim. Make sure to join the Discord and go introduce yourself to the community, and we'll see you at 12 PM CT for Hollow Knight Silksong and at 2 PM CT for a new episode of Semi-Ramblomatic.We won't change what we do to please YouTube.

Our first priority is always our subscribers, so don't worry about any of your favorite shows, streams or podcasts going anywhere.

I'm really sorry this is happening. I've been dutifully watching and liking the videos, but who knows the inner workings of Youtube. Keep up the good work and best of luck!

Jason Ferro

Gonna go win the lottery to fund this channel. Screw YouTube.

Mopman43

You sure they’re streaming Silksong then? Have they been able to get a copy, because let me tell you, it hasn’t worked for me yet.

Natalie Fortune

I signed up for this Patreon upon seeing this video. I loathe how YouTube is run these days. SW is great. I'm a big fan of your mission.

Looming Dementia

Yup, I bumped my support up a notch to the one that gets the extra videos, right after the video in which Yahtzee told us to. I'm a good little lemming. 😄 Not that anyone who isn't already a supporter is going to read this comment, obviously.

John Krauss

Okay, you convinced me. I'm a patreon subscriber. And I even paid without the lump sum to give you guys that extra dollar a month. Keep up the great work.

Mason Woods

I won't let the machines win!

Andrew Williams

Alright if YouTube is being fussy they can not get their part of my membership it can go here instead.

Str8henny

Subbed. Hope y’all can keep doing what you’re doing.

Mike Semko

I can't believe they are doing this to you! YouTube needs a strong competitor this has gotten ridiculous!

Chanel

I’ve noticed this too. I have to check what day it is to and go look up Fully Ramblomatic to watch. It hasn’t automatically shown me Second Wind content without me going to look it up

Captainflake99

If I was to switch my subscription to annual, do you get more ot the cut then if I was to leave it in the £5 monthly?

Second Wind

It's really just up to you! We get the full payment upfront for annual is the main difference.

Shane Z

Congratulations, you finally got me here after years of mooching. I hope plenty more follow suit.

Billy Brummett

Glad to support the best gaming/geek content on the intertubes. Thanks for bringing the viewership problem to the forefront, but I'm still perplexed that trash channels get more views...

Silver

fine i got the 1 dollar

laurence m

The algorithm is garbage at the moment.

a bokoblin

can't give a lot but really value these lads. hope this brings in a good amount of support

JR

Completely besides the point, but the Hot Monday Energy group looks sooo good in this art style (first time seeing that for me). (Also, could we please get the team picture at the end with nametags and/or shows/roles underneath as a download? It's become a bit hard to keep track of everyone as my viewing time has become more limited.)

ExclamationMarc

Subscribed! Has been a staple for me for *checks notes and cries* over 15 years so was a no brainer to support.

TodoMal

Subscribed after seeing this. I hope it helps a little

Dan Smeiska

Money's tight, because it's 2025. But I did add an extra couple dollars a month to my current tier ($7/mo now). If by some grace of God I get a pay raise I'll upgrade my membership then. I hate 2025. So much.

Admiral Spudman

You know what else is hurting your views? Not getting notifications for your new videos. I don't know about anyone else but, in the last few weeks, I have not received YT notifications for most of your videos on my phone nor are they showing up in my YT notifications list on the desktop. If you didn't make patreon posts, I would have missed the majority of your videos lately.

Kevin U.

Subscribed again after a hiatus .. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in! Love u guys!

Chip Bloch

A pox on YouTube. I just got a raise at work and I can’t think of a better use for it! Love live Second Wind!

Andres Solorzano

For me...even though I stay subscribed here, I rarely watch your content anymore. I sometimes think of cancelling, but I do appreciate ya'll voices in the game. Personally, I just started to find I don't resonate with much of the conversation and most of the team doesn't seem to have similar interests to me asides from sometimes Marty and sometimes Yahtzee. Not that Im asking ya'll to "like my games" or whatever...I just haven't cared to watch games media lately. Rather play. Hope ya'll swing back!

Game of Harmony

I’ve been a fan since day one, glad to join 🤙

Aletua

Oh, those damn jumped up if-then lists ruining human fun and creativity…

Stefan Suazo

I would be sad if it was suddenly announced that Second Wind was shutting down, so I am now a patron for the next year.

Jakob Hjorth Hansen

I've heard that LTT is experiencing similar problems with viewership drop

Daretobestupid

Been meaning to join for a while, and this video is what got me to finally go ahead with it; money's a bit tight right now, so I'm on the $3 a month tier, but at least I can look my kids in the eye at the helium mine!

youngstormlord

Are you also on Nebula? Because I think it is time to get some alternatives to youtube.

OneWingedPig

I would like to second a comment from 24 hours ago: get on Nebula. YouTube is going to keep being a problem as long as they're uncontested. Creators like you shifting platforms to a service like Nebula goes a long way towards curbing some of YouTube's worst impulses, especially if it seems like they're going to lose a good portion of their creator base. (And also some of us may or may not be boycotting YouTube at the moment because reasons so having your content available on other platforms would be very much desired thank you. xD)

Mack

Loved the video, seeing everyone in their FullyRam cartoon form was awesome (though we've seen a few of them here and there, Design Delve ofc too). The Hidden Gems crew looking sad just about killed me, love watching those guys on Mondays is part of my weekly youtube routine! Well, congrats, the call to action worked on me, although to my own credit as a former freeloader I wasn't financially stable in my own shit for a while there haha. Also, thanks for offering an annual membership option! Helps a lot when going over monthly bank statements :) <3

JoCo

The Tales of the Shire video is still broken with terrifying AI translation dub that cannot be turned off

jahr

Thanks Jack for asking RLM about this topic. Unusual to see them post a vid about YT algo and i think it will help to get the word out. Will it make a difference in today's climate? Unlikely at best

David Mastromatteo

I'm not sure if this is because of my own watching trends, but the YouTube algorithm is currently giving me a ton of ZPs, especially the ones which are specifically asking for viewer donations to That Company What Was Escaped From from about 4 years ago. Weirdly I think some of them I hadn't seen before, but I'm getting more of them than Second Wind content. I'm not sure if this is something to look into, or if something nefarious is going on, but just thought I'd make mention.
