Whoop, forgot to set it to unlisted. Fixed. Thanks!

I also find the game to lack anything especially attention grabbing. However, I do think the skills besides the overtly combat focused ones are viable ways to engage with the combat. Im in the endgame and have only invested in non combat skills (Science/Medical) per my role paying. The perks and damage scaling with certain weapon types have made my character OP. All in all an improvement over the first game but perhaps a game I should have waited for the inevitable "Auntie's Choice" Complete Edition.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps getting "The Outer Worlds" and "The Outer Wilds" mixed up, then feeling disappointed when it's clarified.

I feel like a lot of the flavor from the game comes from the character traits/flaw system, I got a good mileage from the dialogue choices with the dumb trait and getting kleptomania. However, I see where Yathzee comes from where the main driving force is nebulous and you can easily skip past the more flavor bits of the game

Fully Ramblomatic extremely pretentious prog rock track (eighteen minutes long including the seven minute guitar solo) of the week: Nuanced Takes On The Question Of Freedom Versus Stability by the Pseudo Rationalists (from their album Vengeance Across Space )
