It's that time of year again where our Patreon subscribers get to decide the game Yahtzee reviews for this year's Summer Drought episode! The Discord gave us a ton of suggestions this year and using a highly sophisticated process we have narrowed down the selection to six titles to choose from.

Feel free to debate amongst yourselves which game should be chosen.

Have fun, and the episode will be out not long after Yahtzee returns from vacation!

I'd go with Slay the Princess as that's the only one I've played, but Yahtzee said he's already played it so that doesn't seem worth it. Going with Thief: The Black Parade as it supports a fan made mod and I know Yahtzee likes the series. But I won't be afraid to change my vote to Factorio if needed to prevent Danganronpa from winning yet again.

It's a marvel in nonlinear storytelling and blurs the line between game and visual novel quite a bit due to the importance of picking the right dialogue options in the right order. I'd almost call it a social puzzle game where you're trying to reach certain objectives via talking.

People keep saying to vote for Dangen cause it keeps taking up a slot but 1. The game has multiple sequels, who’s to say the slot doesn’t get filled with the next game and the cycle continues? 2. Why do the voters have to burn a year just to “free up a slot”? Why not ask the weebs to stop requesting it if that’s the issue? Also the bits still hilarious.

I don't think he'll hate it solely because he's made a Factorio management game, when he did his "Dev Diary" series. The dog poop to useful goods game was just factorio on a bitesized level. I would say he'd prefer Slay the Princess, but he clearly didn't think it worth making a video on before so idk why a second go through would spark anything.

I hate this running gag. I want Danganronpa to win so bad, bro. Either Yahtzee somehow likes it (He likes Ace Attorney so it's not impossible) or he utterly hates it and tears it to shreds (it's kind of a love it or hate it game). Either way, the video is bound to be interesting and, god, I wanna see that. I'll bring fucking popcorn to watch that. I'm 99% certain that the only reason it keeps losing are the anti-anime types, who will work together to vote for whatever will beat the anime game, which is really sad.
