Today I can happily announce that the DLCs:

Being a DIK - Season 3

Being a DIK: Season 3 - 4K Resolution Mode (Included with Being a DIK - Season 3 purchase)

Being a DIK: Season 3 - The complete official guide

will be released on Steam on September 1.

There will also be a sale on my games and DLCs between August 25 and September 8.

During release week, the new DLCs will be 10% off, and there will be bundles to complete your collection, with an extra 5% off.

I'm aiming for the same release day and sales on GOG as well, but I'm currently waiting for the go-ahead.

Thank you for your support throughout the development of Season 3.

It feels amazing to reach this huge milestone for Being a DIK.

I can't believe it's been 8 years since development started on this game series. It's been a long journey, and I couldn't have done it without you.

I feel pumped to begin work on the final season of the game and to bring the story full circle.

Love you, guys! Thank you for helping this dream of mine come true.

Season 3 is really good. Silly question—I’m a bit out of the loop on the news, but has anything been said about the walkthrough guide? Has it been announced anywhere when it’ll be available? I really like playing with a guide so I can be sure about my choices and what I’m able to do.

OrpheusTheMF

Congurats and thank you for such amazing job over the years ❤️🫡

KP Gaming

Just a quick question how is the updated official guide for season 3 coming for episode 12???

Chillhelm

The guide will be provided some time after all tiers have gotten access to the game. Since the Steam version will include the guide, I would venture a guess that it'll be available here in the last week of August.

ZYNODS

Nice, thank you.

Chillhelm

Congratulations DPC! You deserve all this success. You are providing us with an incredible masterpiece of a game. It's mindblowing to think that you did - or rather: are still doing it - all on your own and put out a product that puts full blown game studios to shame.

When I first saw this game, on Steam, back in the day, I had no idea it would turn into such an epic adventure. You have done one hell of a job Doc. No one deserves the success more than you my friend. You have definitely mastered the craft and I and all the others here are the beneficiary of all of your hard work and dedication. I am so happy to be a part of your journey with this amazing game. I wish you all the best in the days, weeks, months and years to come. Eight years, whew, amazing. You are truly the GOAT Doc. Hope you managed some time to yourself over the last week or so. Thank you for all you do and continue to do. Your game speaks for itself, no doubt. Truly a masterpiece. Have a great weekend Doc, all. P.S. I will continue to build my collection by purchasing when Season 3 comes out on Steam. Congrats.

DawgLyfe

Is there a benefit to getting the game from steam Vs download from here? Other than the 4k renders?

Dogpool 🍗

Thank you DPC for this season 3 and your amazing game, I'll try 4k with steam and can't wait to play s4

DrPinkCake

Convenience, achievements, 4K mode, Steam cloud saves, and integrated guide DLC.

Darren Robinson

Congratulations on reaching this milestone DPC! Thank you for all of your excellent work on this project.

DawgLyfe

Thanks Doc. My new laptop arrives tomorrow and the integrated guide alone will save many many alt+tab window switches so I'll check it out!

frederik

Well, I got the files to work, don’t know how, but I’m happy. Still buying it on steam September though😁

JEH

Thanks for the good news.👍😊 I will buy Season 3, when it´s released on Steam and I will play the 4K version. I bought Season 1+2 on Steam, and played it first time March 2022, and it was the reason I soon after became a supporter here on Patreon.😉

YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Xerono

Hey guys! With the Steam release coming up, which I’m really grateful for and already super excited about a few things came to mind. I was wondering if DPC has any plans to release a more expensive/premium edition of the game in the future, maybe on Steam as well. Something like a DIK Edition or something similar that could include some extra content or bonuses? Also, does anyone know if he has any plans to make merchandise in the future? I don’t want to bother him directly with these questions, so I thought I’d ask you guys instead, in case you happen to know more about it!

Jonathan Hang

Congratulations, DPC, for reaching such a milestone 🥳🎉!!!! You have DLCs... whaaaaaaat 🤯? 8 years, huh... I have only been here for half (Aug 2022 😅). Looking forward to MANY MORE YEARS WITH YOU 😉. I would say GL on the Steam... but you don't need it 😂. You're "DPC." The name itself sells the game already 😅. Wish you the best ✌🏻😁.

Jono Say

Never forget

outlawman76

So awesome! I can't wait to add it to my steam library! Thanks for all the hard work DPC!

Teufelhunde DJI

Thanks, DPC,for being so dedicated to your craft. It shows in your product. You are well worth the continued support.

Nordwolf

Congrats to the release on those platforms. Without GOG I would still not know about the game!

KrimzonHawka

Hope that'll be the case and it does show up in August before Steam, really need help trying to fix my Season 3 playthroughs right now 😅

Tim Anderson

That's Awesome DPC, you deserve all the success and more for what you have created here, and I will grab it Day 1 on GOG. Also, the new Episode is awesome, dont listen to the dam people on reddit. Everyone else I hope you enjoy/enjoyed the episode and have a good weekend.

Schobbob .

this guy is unstoppable, just had a new episode and he's still going

Chairman

Jonathan Hang

@Schobbob I'm surprised he made it through the last EP with what I heard/read (haven't played it yet, myself).

kit00

Samuel

Thank you DPC.

Manfred Von Karma

Hey DPC, do you know how many episodes season 4 will have? Thanks, and great episode btw ❤️

DrPinkCake

I'm pretty sure I'll cover this one in the upcoming Q&A.

Turki

I can download it in android right

Jazen Rangel

Already got it wish listed for the past year. Even though I got the Patreon version I still got it in my cart on Steam waiting for the first. DIK 4 LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, thanks for the updated models. (LOVE me some Mel.) She looks so good in Season 3. I'm replaying all the way from season 1 and all the character models look so much better now. Thank you for taking the time to improve graphics and how everyone looks throughout the seasons. It's the small attention to detail like that, that we truly appreciate. I never would've thought a game like this would hold such a special place in my heart. I thought it was just gonna be a weirdo sex game I found on Steam. After I played Episode 1, I knew I would like this game. BUT it wasn't until the drunk scene with Bella (I believe in episode 2) that I really fell in love with this game. The MC is funny and actually has a likeable personality unlike some MC's in AVN's. The humor, personalities and characters have all grown on me. Every time I play it's like reuniting with my best friend group. I even have a Spotify playlist I listen to every time I play. I truly never want this game to end. Although I know season 4 is the finale. You knock it out the park every time Doc. Sorry for the monologue just had to show appreciation for your creativity and hard work. Also thank you for being so transparent with us. Most of all thank you for creating one hell of a game.

Chancho

I really hope you have something special planned for Rio in Season 4.
