the how to unzip file seems to not show anything on the video mate. do i unzip with 7zip separetely once downloaded or all together?

You can play it with VLC. You unzip the ".zip" file after all files have been downloaded. No need to touch the .z0-5 files.

hey everyone i just finished loading the game and i set everything up as it showed in the instructions but when i try to play the game it crashes every time i start to play i even tried to start another season three playthrough with a save from 2 and it still ended up crashing. anyone have any fixes or know why its doing that.

ive never actually modified the game , the crash occurs after i start trying to play, it gets to the opening scene with bella and who im assuming is the elusive husband after she says it feels lonely without them the game crashes out.

Sorry, but your save has mod variables that cause the crash. Maybe you got the save file from someone who modded their game then. Regardless, that save file is tainted by mods, and you need to carry out the steps I wrote in my earlier answer.

There is not microsoft email profile references. The instructions on the download page is clear. You download each file. you extract with winrar or 7zip. You go into the extracted folder and launch the app. If you are getting error messages, best to join the discord server to get live assistance.

Thanks for you work. High lvl renders for sure, but it was so short, much more shorter than 11 episode, so few lewd scenes and very doubtful plot decisions... The characters don't develop as deeply as you'd expect from 11 episode, unfortunately. Sorry, was expecting much more :(

There is a folder c:/users//AppData/Roaming/Renpy/BeingADIKSeason3-xxxx That is where the master copies of your saves and persistent (collectible/progress/etc) are saved. Clear out that as well as your install/game/saves

Hey im having some issues with the game, ive tried to install the game and run it but the same thing i stated yesterday is still happening i erased all the old save files i had to remove any chance that the save files might have been corrupted i even reloaded and installed seasons 1&2 to start a new batch of save files to play with but the game keeps crashing when i get to the beginning of season nine before the party, does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and if so does anyone have any fixes that might work.

It works fine on my end after downloading them. I would suggest unzipping in another location. Also, make sure that your z02 file doesn't have any extra characters in it like (1) to indicate that it's a copy.

No, that sounds odd. They are controlled by a file named "persistent". I would recommend you to close the game, and copy and paste the persistent file from the previous version into "game/saves".

For the episode 11 cycle, WinRAR would not work for me, but WinZip worked perfectly. I am downloading now and will test with WinRAR, but suspect I will need to use WinZip again.

If you copy the persistent file to both of these locations it should work: "game/saves" and "%appdata%/RenPy/BeingaDIKSeason3-Patreon-1535311494" Also, I've seen some players having permission issues. What they did to solve it was they moved the game directly to C:/ You shouldn't have to do that, but it can be worth a try.

However, at the very beginning, during Bella’s dialogue (I don’t consider it a spoiler since it’s right at the start, sorry for mentioning it), the game crashes and closes. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Do I need to replay everything from Episode 9, or is there another way to continue from my current save? Thanks!

Yeah, Tommy's character development is very impressive. I used to strongly dislike him and now I see him as an annoying, but steadfastly loyal and protective elder brother.

Don't forget that episode 12 covers a much narrower timeframe than previous episodes. It's about 1 or 2 weeks of time maximum. You rarely change massively in character during such short period of time.

Honestly, this season’s been the biggest letdown for me. Sex scenes are ridiculously scarce, and even though the main girls’ routes didn’t change at all, the story just straight-up ends once you get further in—you don’t even get the most basic scenes. This game is supposed to be all about freedom and infinitely satisfying everyone’s fantasies, but this season really doesn’t live up to the previous ones.

It's a shame that you didn't like it, but I think you misunderstood what this game is supposed to be about. I don't agree that it's all about "freedom and infinitely satisfying everyone's fantasies" at all. That doesn't sound like the game I'm trying to make. Sex scenes are also not the priority to me; story is equally important. If you're looking for a game with just sex and harem, this is not the game for you. I hope you find another game that suits you better.

Got to say something about the sound track. I don't even think about it in most games especially AVNs it's nice when it fits with the scene. Which happens occasionally. But Damn. I absolutely love the music every Fricken episode I find something something Awesome, several the last few years. I love that you put the music on the start up screen and can pick your favorites. Honestly I play the crap out of every release. But listen all the time year round to the music player. You Are Awesome!! Take care

So i have Being a DIK - Season 1 on steam and the rest from here and i want to do a whole new play through is there a way to download season 1 from patreon just so i can avoid using steam if someone can help me I'd appreciate it

For Patreon, S1 is bundled with S2. You can't move saves from Steam to Patreon within S1/S2. You would have to start completely over with obtaining S1/S2 (v8.3) on Patreon and then S3. It is probably best to get S2 on Steam, finish up S2 there. Then you can get S3 on Patreon and import "transfer saves" from end of season 2.

I keep getting a crash to desktop like a minute into the new episode. I know it's something i'm doing but i'm not sure what. Are all my save files from ep 8 corrupt? I had saves from 8 and from 11. They all seem to do it. The solution is really starting over? Like all the way over? I used Scrappys mod so I could hit all the branches. That make them all garbage?

appdata is a hidden folder, you need to set your explorer view options to show hidden files/folders. long path to the Season3 folder is within c:\users\\AppData\Roaming\RenPy.

I enjoyed the update, hunting for the different dialogue was quite fun on my many saves, though I did feel some interactions ended abruptly. You've definitely got your work cut out for you doc, there is a ton of branched paths, some love interests having 8+ different paths, and then if those save thumbnails are anything to go by, the screen time is gonna be spread very thin for the next episode. I must admit I'm slightly worried by how many branched paths there are, especially if it means we will be seeing shorter interactions with the main girls and Tremolo... though this may be the post episode blues talking for me! lol Thank you for your hard work, and I'm very much looking forward to Season 4! :) P.S, it's very mean that you have given me hope, about 0.5% hope, that my favourite character may get an ending with Tremolo... though despite her spending the evening with him in ep 12, unfortunately he is asked to leave shortly after, I did notice she does not get a save thumbnail picture. :'( I'm only messing about of course... but please consider it... ;)

Thanks for the work Doc. It was absolutely fantastic and continues to impress. Hope you and your PCs get some rest. If I may offer one recommendation. I would suggest having a setting option to turn off the sex sounds. They’re not a game breaker but I personally prefer the game without them.

Weird. It doesn't see any saved games when I try to start this. Not that I'm complaining a ton....I will totally go back and play from scratch, but still weird.

I downloaded the link for the full season 3 game and for some reason the new songs for the New Years freeroam event doesnt appear on the phones music bar. No artist name and no title of song and the new songs dont even show in the music gallery in the main menu. What did i do wrong?

Did you have errors when extracting the game? Might be best to come onto the discord server and share some screenshots of your game folder so we can check to see if something is missing or potentially glitched.

i agree. the branching paths are fantastic but a year and a half for this episode didn't feel worth it in my opinion too many girls little screen time. next episode might feel forced or cut off maybe with so many great characters.

For me, some of the playthroughs I had saved were from a LONG time ago, so doing those runs again has been in order. There are other playthroughs that were more recent that I can just continue, because they were based on episode 11 and they don't go wrong.

Played through Maya and Josy route so far, very cool episode! I would say more, but obviously can't for spoiler reasons. I only wish it was longer. 😂😭 Good thing there's other routes I can do, lol, currently on a semi Lily/Riona focused run. I haven't seen that many people talk about the music in this game, but seriously, every song is so damn perfect, especially the emotional ones! 😭

how do i convert the patches to my steam season 1+2 root?

you do not apply the S3 patch to S1+S2. Nor do you apply full S3 onto of S1+S2. S3 is a separate application. You never mix Patreon and Steam code. The v12.1 patch is only to be applied to the full base S3 of v11.0, v11.1, or v12.0. If you don't have an existing S3 base, then you need to get the full S3 v12.1 download.

am I the only one having problem with the game? Ive done all the steps multiple times and at the beginning of episode 9, i can play the interlude but after a few lines of dialogue in episode 9 i keep crashing. Always at the same place. Ive tried with different saved game import and alway the same result.

You're either on a collision course with the ending or not, based on the first 11 episodes. Don't think you can change the outcome in Chapter 12 itself unless you're right on the edge.
