This week I've been coding and polishing the episode while the PCs render animations and static renders.

Approximately 50 static renders and 25 animations remain in the render queue.

Some of the animations are more demanding to render than others, meaning that the number of frames per animation and render speed per frame vary.

It's too early to try and predict the remaining time accurately, I have a few demanding animations left in the queue and also some faster ones to render.

I estimate that we're waiting for something like 2000-3000 animation frames to render in total.

I have plenty of things to do while waiting. This week I've been putting together the remaining free roam events and they are now playable.

The next week will be spent on playtesting the episode thoroughly, making sure everything I want in the episode is there and that the content is polished.

I have a bit of content left to produce for the phone and the free roam events, but not a lot.

The final few percent of every update, or any project really, are the ones that take the longest time. But rest assured that every day we're one day closer to the release of "Episode 6 - Damage control".

Have a nice weekend

Looking forward to it!

Kesh Games

Looks promising, so can we expect it very soon? As in early november? (Too soon?) 🤣

J

Oh man really glad I upgraded my membership cause I thought it was going to only take him about a month and a half to pop each episode out. Can't wait for the new episode!!!

Drippel

early november would be preferable since a lot of people will be pretty occupied in mid november.

John Price

Really appreciate the hard work and time your putting into this, I'm really excited for episode 6

Gritty1983

If things fall apart for the HOTS at the end of episode 6, I can see episode 7 being called "A HOT mess" lol....... can't wait dpc! Fall is the best time of year and perfect for the best episode yet!

T'Gran

Just waiting for my next fix, Doc. But no pressure. I'm a functioning addict.

Hussam

Can't wait.. !!

Nick Ohlsson

I am so looking forward to this update! I don't know much about animations and rendering, but am I wrong to guess that 2000-3000 animation frames for 25 animations means we're getting higher quality animations than before? At least I think it sounds like alot, but maybe it's not?

Daniel Schinhofen

I'm sure someone knows the answer, so I will ask. Will the episodes make it to steam in time? I know it'll be a bit before they do if it's planned, I am just curious if there is a plan for it.

BananaMan

They'll make their way over to steam when episode 7 and 8 are done

AfterLife

great title, I can hardly wait

SpazzMaticus

Woot woot! Super excited and impressed with the work ethic!

Joshua Entrekin

Thank you Doc for everything and your reminder from me that im going to hate you forever for making me choose between Jill and Bella.

Daniel Schinhofen

Thank you. I'll be biding my time patiently...mostly patiently.

Messè

Thanks for the status update as always! Keep up the good work <3.

YikesBradley

Love all the content that you provide!

Julian Harper

The devil is always in the details, you’re right the last parts always take the longest

Jill Valentine

Thanks for the update DrPinkCake 🖤

R4MPZY

As far as i understand on Patreon each individual episode gets released, whereas on steam they get released on a season basis, looking at season 1 which is episode 1-4 i'm guessing season 2 would be episode 5-8

Gritty1983

Just a 10 pat lands you the new eps, game is too good to wait for steam imo and I originally found the game on there

Bryan Wong

So hypedd!! Thanks for ur hardwork!

Columbo

I can't contain my excitement right now. I just can't.

DragonWulf 15

keep up the great work man we are all really excited for the new episode and id rather you always take as much time as needed to get the game to your standards and what you will be proud of when it releases but either way i hope your staying healthy and have a great rest of the weekand

evil_rooster

I'm really new to your Patreon page, but I have never been more impressed by anyone's ability to keep people informed and produce such a quality product. I was a programmer 25 years ago when it was mostly webpages and database management and I sucked at it so I moved on, but you DrPinkCake are awesome. I'm retired now but if I had the money to give I'd be tossing it your way in a heartbeat. Awesome writing, heartfelt stories and in some cases a unique perspective are just some of the things that impress me. Keep up the great work.

evil_rooster

Just one thing that I hope we find out soon is a little insight into relationship between Jill and Bella. It seems closer than friendship and almost like sisters in a way. Was the the best friend of Jill's deceased sister or maybe her sister-in-law? I know the renders suggest some fooling around but I'm guessing that most of those for every character are designed mostly as erotica and not story-based. Am I right there or not? Anyway, love your sense of humor, it's witty, silly and sarcastic all at the same time. Anyway, I'm out. Thanks for your great work.

Blacklabyrinth

I couldn't agree more. Always feels like we know what's going on. Story is also really good.

DrPinkCake

Thank you! It's a very important part of this project to have a transparent development process. For me, it's about respecting the patrons who make the project possible, keeping you updated while also having something I can look back at to see that I'm indeed moving forward even when it feels like nothing is happening due to the massive amount of work it takes per episode. Thankfully, the project is so versatile that it never gets boring. I can always switch daily work tasks if I'm in the mood for something different. I believe that's why I love and can keep creating these games.

Brother Bethor

Well, in ep05, when MC is in Bella's home there is a dialogue that hints the relationship between our host and Jill is something more than friends and that Bella is troubled by it.

Doug Bliss

My guess for the connection is that Jill lost her big sister in an accident caused by Bella's husband, probably while drunk driving. Timing, guilt, and circumstances seem to line up well.

Monster1830

My guess is your mother was a Royce

Doug Bliss

OMG - I just now realized you were referring to the MC. Even funnier, and yes, I entertained that notion for a bit, but dismissed it as being a bit too on the nose for DPC's style.

Qayen

Excited to see how the HOT power struggle comes about, if it does. Some of the girls didn't seem too happy with Sage's leadership and Quinn and co. might try a hostile takeover. MC's relationship with Sage also seems to be evolving beyond just f*ck buddies.

Touhara Kimino

Thanks for the update DPC! Can't wait to play this EP!

Aerithone

Then Jill and MC are relatives? Patreon won`t allow it.

Stryker67

Or just maybe MC's Mom was a Burgmeister? maybe Rusty's cousin??

evil_rooster

I thought of that too and an interesting point to this is that Jill alluded to an extended family that might not make it taboo for them to be involved. Also, remember how Lynette's father (MC's grandfather) really didn't like the relationship with Neil, but it's also true that time heals most wounds when it comes to grandchildren.

evil_rooster

One person I hope gets what he deserves is that scurvy dog Steven, Jade's husband. Cheating is one thing, but there is more to this scumbag. he's the one using the girls and promising free tuition for sexual favors. That's gonna get him a blanket party from some of the DIKs I'll bet. Mona left that room madder than a hornet in Episode 5. What an "eff" stick he is if that's what's happening.

Dorian

I just played the game for the first time, and i have to say its a masterpiece i have no words to describe how talented you are. Best game ever.

ObyHaiti

best game ever .

Gritty1983

Well if you slept with Jade in your play through then Steve is definitely getting some of that bad karma thrown his way

evil_rooster

You know I just had a weird premonition about the scene with Jill and Bella in bed. Maybe they had a brief encounter that wasn't too involved, but I also wonder if they haven't competed for the attentions of men before. Maybe Jill when she first got to school and Bella found out her husband was a little bit of a perv for young girls. She might have gotten very angry and sided with Jill kicking her hubby out. Explains a lot to do with the interest in MC and why it feels dirty. She doesn't seem to have a real inhibition problem otherwise. Being cheated on can break one's confidence in their sexuality in a heartbeat. Just a thought but the more I think about it, something happened to Jill too that makes Bella overprotective and it also scarred Jill to not be able to trust a man's attentions. Just saying...could be an interesting angle for the plot to go.

evil_rooster

Wouldn't surprise me either if Bella's locked room is a BDSM parlor. Just saying.

Jamison

I thought about that too, figured I'd be in the minority. I also wonder if Bella and Jill have a sexual past with each other, like Josy and Maya

evil_rooster

Like I said a little while ago, I think it might have been a comfort thing that got a little steamy, but I think that each of them is so sexually appealing that it might be more about sharing a common abuse issue where they each have been abused in some way that lends a very close relationship through the secret of that abuse. Remember when the MC says he would have called for help if he knew about how that kiss affected Bella in the Library? Images of a broken past will do that to a person.

Bobscratch

Me as well, and I completely agree . Always support good story telling as directly to the author as you can. There's not enough of it, and DPC definitely has talent.

evil_rooster

Well, take a look at poor Mona's face when she leaves that room and Prof Burke comes out after with a scowl. He's asking for sex for tuition. No doubt in my mind and not just once I imagine. Then look back at Camila saying she's out of the tuition hunt and Quinn asks if she'll be a problem. Trouble brewing there and blackmail seems to be on the horizon. That B*tard needs an butt whipping for doing that to 18 yo girls and Quinn deserves Tommy's anger.

evil_rooster

My sense is that there is definitely that aspect, but I think they kind of fell into it and aren't actively seeking that from each other. I think they share the secret of abuse from somewhere whether it was Bella's husband or whatever. But there are multiple signs. The campaign for Jill is one and the MC's revelation that if he'd known why Bella was crying at the library that night he'd have stopped and called for help. Something terrible happened in Bella's life and she's repressing it. I am certain of that.

SpitztheGreat

That scene worried/worries me a lot. Since then I've tried to pull back from Bella, but since I've also done the same with Josy and Maya, and have no interest in Quinn or Sage, it would make for an awfully boring game lol.

Gritty1983

i have a theory that 3 keys events. (the pictures to chad, the hacked tybalt account on cluck and the hacking/posting of the picture on dik laptop) were in fact caused by the nerds. I think the nerds are behind all of it and i think Bella is helping them. That locked room may be something along them lines... just an idea

Gritty1983

Quinn is messed up but i don't think she is who we need to worry about. The drug dealers (who i think we will meet in episode 6) that Quinn gets her "stuff" off of...different story. (Did you play acting lessons timothy?) I think those dealers are going to bring the "danger" element into this story at some point and we may see Quinn redeem herself by stories end. As far as Stephen goes I think Jade is going to put him in his place and he will probably get fired eventually when his sins come to light.

evil_rooster

Yes, Acting Lessons is awesome. I like your ideas here too. I agree about Quinn. TBH she is messed up from something in her life and she's not going to let people hurt her friends. I trust Sage's trust in her even if it's misplaced in this first instance. Quinn just comes from a different angle than most. The drug dealers are going to be a problem for sure, but I also think there is going to be a surprise take on some of that, but we'll see. I think Troy is messed up in it somehow.

Brother Bethor

I think that Troy is the mysterious Chad's lover. That would explain some of his strange behaviour. The theory that needs are responsible for hacking and blackmail is good although maybe too convenient. IDK

Arctic Alpha

Ok, I've played the game 3 times thru now and I had to join here to show my support. Keep on rocking.

Paul Cormier

I can't seem to stop replaying it. I'm feeling compelled to try just about every combination of choices and character traits. I am actually hoping that there is a way to reject or be rejected by Josy & Maya that will be reversible in later episodes. After playing "Acting Lessons" I'm watching the character personalities and hinted at mysteries more closely in anticipation of the surprises to come.

Paul Cormier

I had the same concerns from that library scene. I also wonder how the locked room ties into it. The abuse theories that people are tossing about sound plausible, but I'm not so convinced of the BSDM angle with that room (I could believe it for Jade, but not Bella).

Paul Cormier

I also agree that comfort sex is a likely explanation for the conflict scene between Bella and Jill, although I was really intrigued by the looks Bella and Jill gave each other if you replied "I remember" instead of "is it". I'm just not connecting how that is significant here since you have separately heard that from both of them before.

Paul Cormier

That's a twist that I hadn't considered but I'm not sure that I can buy into that with the black eye that Troy had. I don't think the two things go together, but it is fiction so who knows...

Marminus

I think that Bella might have a fetish she does not want to share with Us or simply have a hobby that with her being so stoic and mature might break that impression. Just imagine that she has room full of fluffy stuffed animals or something like that. Which helps her to cope with her loneliness. Jill is her younger sister figure which she likes to take care of. So I doubt that there is something sexual going on. At least to the moment Mc comes into the picture. Said room can have a huge connection with her "Man" we still didn't have a full picture of. It might be his study room and she didn't change a thing waiting for the moment he comes back to her. I can picture it as some deviant manipulator had a crush on her when she was younger but grow bored of her and is living a life somewhere else with younger girl. For those kind of men. Youth is what they long for and she isn't young anymore. Fresh so to speak for those kind of pervs.

Marminus

I remember might meant that Bella told something she rarely shares with others. Especially men. Which is why Jill put those two together and realized that Bella started to be fond of Mc. Jill just wants what is best for Bella and was in conflicting mood. To let go of Mc for Bella's sake or contionue on and risk their friendship. Bella is in similar situation. Both consider ending their relationship for the sake of other. Which might in turn be something which leads to them both having a relationship with Mc and be happy together. Thats what I got from this story.

Brother Bethor

The locked room could be Bella's late child's room or her sibling (Lynette?).

Marminus

Now that I look at the picture of main characters I can see how danger/crazy meter is on the left side the highest with Quinn and the lowest on right with Jill. It somehow fits really well with their characters and stories. I really like all the characters besides Quinn. She is a broken human being that needs a fixing. Jade is a little cracked up human being but is fun to be around. The rest you can guess yourself. The middle pair is the coolest to be around. Both fun and crazy enaught for everyone. Bella and Jill are the sweetest and most nice to be around. Less of the crazyness and but not less sexyness. For me personally the right side with Jill and Bella are the hottest. Queen is the least but thats just me and my preference.

Arctic Alpha

Son of a... I didn't suspect the nerds at all, but now that you mention it...

evil_rooster

Hmm, I think you're on to something here. The most important thing is that there seems to be a momentary split from reality for her in some way when it comes to relationship issues be it sexual or otherwise. I am truly empathetic with this type of behavior since I saw it with my ex-wife's relationship with her father. If I had not been gone for so long while in the Navy we probably would still be together. That brings up another possible issue and a foreshadowing no one has mentioned regarding the image the MC had of the mannequin as a soldier. Maybe Bella and her husband had an argument just before he shipped out to Afghanistan or Irag and it was never resolved before he was killed in action. That was an impression I got at the very beginning and forgot about until now.

Arctic Alpha

I'm the kind of dumbass, that in real life I couldn't stay away from girl like Quinn...

evil_rooster

Just to clarify, my father and his brother had this happen in WWII. His brother died and Iwo Jima. He came to tears once talking about his brother. It's devastating to never be able to say you're sorry to someone you loved deeply in that situation.

evil_rooster

Wow, sorry for all the posts but thoughts keep flooding in on this subject. It could simply be her deceased husband's hobby room or study with all the memorabilia from his childhood, their marriage and so on. It may very well be a sort of shrine dedicated to him. She may simply be suffering from acute post-trauma syndrome which may also be Jill's focus. The conversation in the bedroom might be that it was some anniversary of that event that led to complex feelings and actions between Bella and Jill that shouldn't continue but have not been resolved. This is where my money lies. I could be wrong but there are a lot of tells that suggest it. I hope that this is it because love and kindness usually help these victims over time.

evil_rooster

I think you're right Paul Cormier. That isn't Bella's type of thing, it was a poor eval on my part but your explanation holds water for me.

evil_rooster

Something I just considered too is that some female relationships are very physical in a "huggy-kissy" sort of way as in the library when Jill tells Bella about the spat with the MC. When it comes to intense emotional things it can also make a sad person even sadder for the lack of contact with the person they are missing. Moodiness and sadness often go together and that may have been what happened. Jill also told the MC that he was probably overthinking the locked room. There was no hint of hiding any emotions for Bella in my opinion, just profound concern that the MC doesn't push the wrong buttons and hurt Bella or ruin the newfound relationship/friendship by being nosey.

Gritty1983

oh one other guy to watch out for that nobody on here talks about, Mayas dad. You only see him in one lone still frame but he looks like an evil dude. Maya is going on and on and on about money she needs for "more" than just tuition but still never tells the MC why or is about to at least at the end of chapter 3 until 'knock knock knock' happens lol What are your theories on Maya and her pop?

Brother Bethor

Maybe Maya needs the money to become truly independent from her father? BTW, did she come out to her family? I can't remember that.

Brother Bethor

The husband lives - Bella wanted him to come home. About that locked room: "shrine" could be still a thing if Bella had a child that died. There are couple instances where she is very motherly to MC.

evil_rooster

To be honest, Maya's father is probably a closet abuser. He probably is more upset she likes girls cuz of that. Just my opinion. You have to admit Derek is a little off too. They're wonderful kids, but that family is a mess. Where's Mom in all this? Is she one of those silent types afraid of losing the meal ticket so she let's him screw up the kids? I wouldn't be too surprised if Maya wasn't more upset that Josy would go to the East Coast without her. I think Maya was actually trying to disappear from that controlling "fuck" of a father permanently. I mean, I can see a week or two of the silent treatment like Pete with Josy, but not acknowledging your daughter graduated High School Magna cum Laude with an arm around her or a kiss. He may not physically or sexually abuse those kids but he's a mental abuser for sure. A real Jackass Asshat kinda guy. So does that answer your question Gritty. I hope I posted where you could read it. This system of tiers confuses me...lol

evil_rooster

I think she's considering moving off campus to a private residence where she could hide, but that would take a butt load of money.

Gritty1983

All great points Tim. I think we as fans should be safe from any tragic events in season 2. I think once we hit episodes 9 through 12 we will see things get dark. I also think elapsed time will be used at points if dpc is intending for the MC to graduate at the finale.

evil_rooster

I commented earlier on Maya's dad, but I think I've refined my opinion with a little more thought. He is the worst kind of abuser, sure physical and sexual abuse are despicable, but emotional abuse (withholding love and affection or placing restrictions on another's happiness to get what you want) is the most damaging of all because it comes with the other two. As a person subjugated to such abuse your opinion of yourself falls to dangerous levels. You start to need other's opinions of you to be high to be happy. Look at Maya, beautiful and yet repressed to feeling like an object instead of being proud of herself. Derek is so used to rejection, he'd rather be rejected 10 times and accepted once than to just be himself. I don't think he's as bad off as Maya at all, but he lacks determination in anything other than social acceptance. This is an awesome showcase for how this type of abuse can lead to risk-taking behaviors and the exact opposite, hiding from things to keep from being hurt. Anyway, I wish I had followed my dream of working in Social Work as a profession instead of being a patient all my life...lol

evil_rooster

I get what you mean by tragic events, but there is the potential for some really sticky situations that will have repercussions for several Episodes I believe. MC's heritage, does he become DIK president because of it or pushed away because he's not a pureblooded Burgmeister? Or does his status put him in the same position as Jill, not being able to trust the people who seem to care for him just like she can't? Does this change his relationship with her or Bella for the better or worse? What if it turns out that it's Josy or Maya whose parents are rich and one of them is related to the MC? I mean almost all of the students there seem to have a silverspoon in one of their orifices....lol....even Sage and Dawe. It's a "Richy" school, something that wasn't clear at the beginning.

evil_rooster

My comment about a "Richy" school doesn't mean that all of them are Royce or Burgmeister rich, but just think if Neil or the MC were to just have the kind of money that say Sage's family does and it's a will and testament away from changing their lives. That would still be huge for the plot.

evil_rooster

Weird thought, what if Lynette's father bribed the doctors into telling Neil that she died and they whisked her away telling her the baby died and that Neil took off. Now, with that said, remember that Neil is working on a new hotel and they joked about him falling for the owner's daughter....let your imagination run free from there. Lynette learns of the lies but is powerless to do anything because of the way life has evolved, but..... Not sure where I'm going from here but wouldn't that be a twist and a half....lol

Paul Cormier

Timothy, I'm finding some of your theories interesting but I can't help but play devil's advocate. Going back to Maya's father - I think he is not just religious, but in some kind of cult and wonder about some kind of "marry her off" types of threats (either implied or otherwise).

Paul Cormier

as for faking Lynette's death, I would think that would be hard to pull off even with money and resources. She was head strong enough to run away and track him down, so I don't find it totally plausible that she would just give up.

Paul Cormier

I have to say that I am enjoying being able to exchange theories and ideas about this. It truly is a great piece of work so far. I do hope that it doesn't get as dark as "Acting Lessons". I was really disappointed that there didn't seem to be any way to save both girls. I know it was needed for the MC to experience the mental/emotional devastation for the rest of the plot, but I still would have liked at least one ending that skipped that.

evil_rooster

Now there is a very good point. She finds it hard to stand up for herself and that would be devastating. I can see that. I just think he uses his religious virtue or whatever as a weapon to make her feel unworthy and more sinful than anyone should be made to feel. That's kind of what I mean by controlling minds by withholding love and affection. But an excellent point.

Bobscratch

Quinn posted those pictures of Cathy. I just know it.

evil_rooster

Well, I think I've finally lost my mind in this game. Here's a short synopsis of what I think would be a very cool turn of events. The MC and his frat brothers start working hard to fix the place and the administration watches as it slowly transforms. During that time the MC goes home with Maya and Josy at his side to see what that letter is all about. I don't have a clue how I want it to go except that I hope that it puts the MC and Dad on a course to be able to move to the area around campus where his Dad could become the fulltime maintenance engineer and grounds keeper with MC as his partner. Neil meets Isabella, Jill and all the HoTs and kind of does a double take. But most of alll, I think he'd be perfect for Isabella. A mature man with a heart of gold and the patience of a saint. The MC's involvement there...not sure, but I think Jill, Josy or Maya are better choices in the long run. How the story develops from there is anybody's guess. Just a wish list here, but I really believe that would make a wild ride for all concerned.

Paul Cormier

But you know it's not going to be that easy. Something's going to go wrong and somebody's going to get hurt somewhere.

Oschielon

Somone might burn to death :'c

Paul Cormier

I really hated that in the other story

Oschielon

As dark as it was, it was fairly realistic. Life is nasty, and not everyone you meet will have a happy end. I liked even more so that DPC decided to not give the player any choice for it to go any other way. Not only was it needed for the MC for the story, but also to make the player properly invested in the choices.

Oschielon

Also been thinking more, and I have a feeling that the tradegy side of things for this one is gonna somehow involve Quinn and the drugs... Maybe cause the HOTs need the money she'll try to cut the drugs and do it wrong... or perhaps she'll just accidentally overdose

Paul Cormier

I haven't played through as a Massive DIK and possibly because of that, I haven't become very emotionally invested in Quinn. It seems to me that for tragedy to hit hardest, it's got to hit one of the least deserving of it (which you know that I already said that I don't like - even if it is more realistic and necessary for whatever twist DPC has in mind). I hope DPC is going for something original here and not just repeating the same elements as before (criminal & crazy) although there are already hints at possibilities for both of those, there is also the hint of something sinister with Maya's dad & his religion. I'm very suspicious about that "religion" but get the feeling we won't find out more until it impacts the MC. The suspense is killing me. I almost wish I waited a year or 2 to start this. Now I will obsess about it until it's complete.

Oschielon

*worries for Riona :'c* I've got playthroughs every which way, and tbh Quinn actually some of the sweetest moments. She's definitely a complex and twisted personality, but there are moments that are truly touching between her and MC. Interested to see where it goes. As for the whole Maya / father's religion... I don't know. Seems to be a bit of a stretch to involve a huge religious cult into just one of the main characters story... especially with the ramifications that could involve. I think it'll just be more along the lines that because her father is religious he was also either unknowlingly or purposefully abusive to her, possible not physically, but for sure mentally. I just feel the setting and DPC's writing is a bit too realistic to try bring a cult into it. Could be totally wrong though haha, which is why I'm terrified / dying to find out what happens. I'm also at the point where I really wish I found this gem once it was fully completed. I'm starting to obsess about it to, and because of the nature of the game, there isn't exactly many friends I have that I can casually chat about it in person, ya know? Or maybe that's just me haha.

Paul Cormier

Oschielon, yeah, you make some good points. And I'm right there with you on the chats and conversation. I've talked about it, but only the basic plot and the interactions with your choices. I don't know what it is about DPC'S writing that sucks me in, but it does it very successfuly. I tend not to like the really dark stuff (I always figured that it's easy enough to find that in real life, so I tend to stay away from it in fiction), but in spite of that I will have to complete this story. I only found the other one after it was complete and then only played to the first shrink encounter and had to replay the first part to see if it could be avoided. I only 3 or 4 times before I started searching for hints and clues online. I walked away from it for a month or 2 before deciding to go back and push on. I'm still not sure if I will ever go back and do the whole thing again.

evil_rooster

I appreciate your opinion here, but I'm really hoping it doesn't go that direction in a graphic sense. Finding out that someone is charged with murder, being investigated or arrested when evidence is found suits me fine. The details might be grisly and the repercussions might be huge, but I would have to side with Paul Cormier on this. The violence and potential for it were there from the beginning considering the abuse, the robbery and so on. In this one violence isn't a theme that creates the impetus of the story like the robbery, the subsequent hospital scene and so on. Maybe a failed suicide attempt or near overdose with Quinn or someone in a coma. Or as I've remarked before Bella lashing out at her husband when he's caught cheating and she hides it. The axe might have been a tool she used to get wood to make a coffin or something else there is a pick axe or something there too, right? But it's his show and I look forward to whatever direction he goes. I am hoping that anything along those lines doesn't turn an entire episode into a wake and funeral or a dark mood all the way around. That's what I would have to say is my worry. I don't remember a lot about Acting Lessons as far as names because it did affect me greatly and I don't want to remember it for those parts. I want to remember it the wonderful friendships and dedication to helping each other through the dark times. I suppose the dark times were necessary to bring that part out, but I was not nearly as invested in the characters beyond Megan, MC and Liam. I'm invested in my choices to this point, but a turn to darkness would slow my desire to run through the game to a turtle's pace after that part if it was too overwhelming. Just me and my opinion though. Rock on DPC, tell your story and I'll deal with it the only way I know how.

MattinVegas

I really hope not... as much as I loved that game and as beautiful as I thought that ending was to this day I still wish I had never played it.

Djoekjema

I already wish for a shoulder to cry on. Don't tear up easily but acting lessons was really something. And now with each different playthrough I get attached to another character. Wat if Derek was to throw himself in front of Maya and dear ol' dad? Or what if Chad goes beserk and kills half the hots? Or... or... what if we have to choose between Maya and Josy? Or if our choices drive a wig between Jill and Bella? *grabs a bag and starts to hyperventilate

Djoekjema

Never too soon? hehehe
