Beautiful! Only thing I'll say is that texture for her skin looks great where it is reflective from moisture, sweat, oil etc. But the dry parts such as her boobs look kind of unrealistic or plastic. Not sure how you could fix that but just some notes.

I know her body is beyond beautiful, but it's her eyes that I can't look away from on close-ups. Like dark pools of lust. Just looking at her sultry eyes and face actually give me the chills when I look long enough.

I know I've gone on about this too much but it just occurred to me that Bella's face is what I have imagined every time I've read about Cleopatra (The face that launched a thousand ships.) Even her muscular physique reminds me of the Greek Goddess Athena (the goddess of War)

Thanks you're right. It felt goofy when I wrote it, but I thought I was on a roll...lol. Athena was the Goddess of War and Helen of Troy was the face that launched a thousand trips...got it. I loved playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey. So much lore and the landscapes and ruins were awesome to see. I was in Athens in 1979 but the Parthenon was under renovation so we couldn't walk through it. Bella reminds me of several of the Greek women I saw there in the markets. It was amazing to see so many dark-haired, olive-skinned beauties in one place.

I trust DPC to be less sinister than that, but deep-rooted pain might drive her to a deep depressive period where MCs affections could hurt her more deeply than he ever expected. I hope that it's not something like that at least, meaning murder. She might be mentally ill due to some horrible event and MC is alluding to his actions triggering buried feelings. Calling for help may simply mean Jill or someone to help her get through her burden. That's what I'm hoping at least.I don't see it being a recurring thing though if she did kill someone. I think she'd be a danger to herself out of remorse more than hurt MC. I know I'm jumping around but I tend to do that as I write as a form of thinking out loud. No, I think Bella is a wonderful person overwhelmed by grief.

I think the locked room is a sanctuary of grief for her ex-husband and Jill's sister (Jsis). I've said before that I think there was a romantic tryst with Jsis and this may have been her room or whatever. If the axe was a murder weapon I would say it was used in a fit of anger at seeing her husband with Jsis in the pool or near that garage. As I said in a previous post I think Bella discovered her bisexual side when her hubby charmed her. Finding hiim with a woman she loves would trigger temporary insanity if you ask me. The money MC gets might actually be used for Bella's defense which may be an ongoing thing for several episodes. DPC may surprise me, but I sense he likes Isabella too which is why he made her so vulnerable and complex.

I've struggled with the back story on Bella's husband. I remember her saying (or thinking) that it has been 3 years and please come back to me, I forgive you (not necessarily word for word). If she was psychologically ill, could she have killed him and repressed the memory (rewritten the story in her head)? Sometimes it seems like there are little details that don't mesh, but DPC appears to be a pro at misdirection and subterfuge. I agree with you about the locked room, some kind of shrine or just preserved since the loss of someone who lived in it. There is absolutely nothing in Bella's nature that suggests malign intent - just the opposite. Whatever is going on there has got to be either grief, insanity, or some combination of the two.

"Final" sounds sweet. As in "soon finished". But so far every chapter was worth the waiting. Good things take time. I would very much like to see some stark story branching again like we had in chapter 4, when MC had to decide where to sleep. So much replay value.

well you know that Maya is not using protection (at least not yet). I'll bet that Jill isn't either, although I haven't found a path that leads that far with her yet. I still wonder whether or not their might be a relation in the mix. I don't think that I would want to find out that I had slept with a relative, talk about awkward. That was my first thought when looking at Jill's pictures, could she be your aunt. I discounted it when I thought about the timeline and the estimated age of the 2 girls in the picture.

Yeah, I thought about the pregnancy issue a few times. The issues with the family relationships are certainly left vague on purpose. There are several conversations that seem innocent but could be seeds for making later revelations seem more plausible. One, and I agree with anyone who says it's a stretch, is the comment at the mansion party that MC is young for an alumnus and was ahead of his time in school. We may find out that Jill is actually younger. She's a third-year student, so she would be 20 or 21, but something doesn't compute there. Isabella protects her as if she is much younger and Jill's naivete may be because she's in an environment that's older. Again it's probably a stretch, but DPC keeps pretty close tabs on the number of words in conversations to keep the file size smaller. What I'm saying is that often simple interactions like that don't get included just for a joke's sake. I could be wrong, but we'll see. Why is Jill's age important? If the is closer to MC's age than to, say Tybalt's, the age of her sister could make her sister closer to Isabella's age. I still think there is a link there. Jill didn't just one day go, hey I like that librarian chick let see if I can seduce her or vice versa...lol. Just saying. Even if they were romantically involved at some point, clearly the relationship is more sisterly than romantic. Isabella knows about MCs mother and I think she would have put 2 and 2 together if she knew Jill's sister had died in childbirth even if she weren't friends with Jill's sister she would certainly have heard more from Jill to figure that or at least be suspicious. Death during childbirth isn't so common that it wouldn't spark at least some suspicion. Also, Jill is pretty independent in most things, I think if she were 21 she's not as broken up about a tiff with the MC over the bullying incident, that seems more like a younger, inexperienced girl's worry. I don't know, but it's really hard for me to imagine that one of the main characters would be eliminated from the romance list that easily. They might closely enough related that it causes a scare in their relationship, 2nd or 3rd cousins maybe, but aunt or closer I find hard to swallow. Remember Jill's comment that she has lots of relatives that she doesn't consider family who hangs around for the image of wealth. Again, I find that a statement that is significant like the one at the mansion. It's not just filler for conversation's sake. Finally, Jill would know if her sister had died in childbirth whether or not her child was lost to the family or not. That kind of thing would bring up the issue right away. "Oh, that's terrible. That's how my sister passed away." Or maybe on the date that revelation is made. If Jill even suspected she was dating her sister's kid she'd never let it go any further. Sorry, I know that's a lot of conjecture that may be proved wrong, but I believe that it's more likely that he's related to Tybalt/Jade or Stephen Burke. The Burke's must be really wealthy since in the lewd scene with Jade a prenuptial agreement was mentioned. I couldn't determine who was the richer of the two, but there is a reason those to stay together and it is for appearances. Well, I've written another book and I'm sorry about being long-winded but I've had these thoughts about this situation for a while now. Thanks for reading all of it if you got this far...lol

I don't know about Jade, I just didn't see it but I guess I'll just have to go look again. I was actually thinking about Lynette and Sage both having freckles, but I don't think they share any other significant facial similarities. BTW: I read your "book" above (to the end) and I think you are right on a lot of the points. The part that had me stuck on that idea about Jill and Lynette was the picture of Jill as a little kid on another girl's shoulders. I can't tell you how many times I stared at that picture trying to see Lynette in it. If it's not Lynette, who is it, will they enter into the story, it seems like it has to be significant somehow, otherwise, as you say, why waste space on it!

I also think that it's Jade that has the money, otherwise why would Stephen even stay in the marriage when he would obviously rather chase skirts? And why would he have put up with Jade's tirade where she was throwing things at him? I suppose that it's also possible that there is a kind of buyoff clause for whomever decides to file first . . .

Good points Paul, I kind of agree about the facial similarities when I went back, but blonde nearer Jade's age than she would have been to Jill even as an older sister, and just the twist of weird that having sex with your 40-year-old aunt is kind of what puts me in Jade's corner. It also puts MC in a very advantageous position to force Stephen to pay Maya's tuition since he's essentially blackmailing the HOT girls Quinn sends with sex for tuition. The pay their tuition or you're done Mr. Slimeball seems appropriate...lol. EDIT: I had the affair with Jade in two plays. The role pl ay becomes clearer now. Why did she insist MC call her Mommy? Well, almost Auntie Jade!

Just the pained look on her face and the care she takes care of everyone with (MC the mother's kiss good night) and Jill. I think there is an old saying that goes something like "With great wisdom comes great sorrow.."

Just to clarify, she seems like an empath in the sense that she feels her own pain and listens with her heart, and often feels the pain of others. Knowing things is a double-edged sword since it can amplify both happiness and sadness.

Yeah, I agree but Mona's reaction and the scene with Camila telling Quinn about Mona just makes my skin crawl. Stephen is a bastard that needs a real lesson if it's true.

Yes, Stephen really looks like the most despicable person in the story. I worry how far Quinn and/or Stephen will go to keep their secrets if they think Mona, or any HOT pledges might talk! That could be where the tragedy comes from, maybe one or more disappear or end up dead from an overdose . . .

Those are all great questions to which I have no answers. My guess is that Stephen is the money behind the drugs and most of the illegal activity, looking the other way for parties if they are reported. Remember at the very beginning Derek was going on about finding out who was running the show. He's intuitive if not book smart. He smelled it right off the bat. I fear his mouth first brain later will get him in trouble. I like him, but if anyone remembers him from the Prep party, he could be a target because nasty people suspect everyone and one's who talk a lot are not safe. I hope that doesn't apply to Josy too. That's really all I want to contribute though because it's getting too close to Ep 6 reveal time and I don't want to be remembered for throwing a spitball theory and ruining things for anyone. I've been bad about casting too many theories I think. Just keep in mind that Tommy going off the deep end is bad because if you're in the Maya/Josy relationship, you may have more trouble than you bargained for on more fronts than just the tri-alphas.

You know that except for the extreme adult theme the Frat life Pink shows is really pretty accurate. I was in a Frat associated with a church...people may not realize it but Univ. of Ill. Urbana/Champaign boasts the largest Greek system in the US probably the world because of the size of the university...51 fraternities and 26 sororities when I went there. We had a system too, where a sorority would link with a fraternity and become their Little Sisters. You picked Pledge Father and Pledge Mother too. You ate dinner with them, they helped you learn songs and all sorts of stuff. The humongous national fraternities were very DIK-like ours a little more reserved but there were hiding places where distinct sounds of fooling around were common. Anyway thought I'd share that tidbit with you.

Its because they didn't sign up a prenuptial clause before marriage, Jade literally explains it in the story, she says to both Mc and Stephen that is the reason why he keeps being with her and she doesn't want to destroy her family or being involved in some scandal that's why she focuses in her career and doesn't want to pursue her husband affairs further.

Dalion I was wondering the same thing. Especially when it comes to that locked door in Bella's house. I'm trying to get together with Jill and if MC asks her about it, even she gets curious about what's behind the locked door. I know DPC is a master at telling stories and taking them down a darker path, but damn do I hope Bella isn't a killer and has a body behind that locked door. Either way, the suspense and the speculation is amazing, not many have been able to create a story that's had me captivated this much.
