YAAY at last.

Okay watching this, especially the sleep over they had gives me more hope about their chemistry. We got to see how close they actually are since the show didn't really showcase this.

The line up is as good as it gets considering who I DIDN'T want in the line up (my first reaction to the line up is on my youtube as a saved live).

I'm so curious what Sanghyeon is gonna do. Imagine he was swapped with Donggyu ... in the words of RIIZE ... in another life.

I obviously just started watching this, but I read your caption first... I commented on your podcast on Spotify that I wasn't sure who my two to be replaced would be other than Geonwoo, but I realized that Sanghyeon is the other one. I would've preferred Junmin and Donggyu, but again, overall I'm happy and hoping those two prove us all wrong. I think they're going to do great things and I hope they have more of a r&b vibe with their music. We shall see.

Yeah, Xinlong and Zihao were both going through it. They hugged for over a minute and only let go cause a master came to talk to them. Then they walked on stage holding hands until the staff stopped Zihao from going further.

I wish Sanghyeon would have debuted in 2vnne! Think he is very TWS coded so I can’t really picture him in an Alpha like group. Picture the cute/refreshing concept - Sanghyeon - Woojin - Liyu - Masato - Haneum - Chingyu - Kaiwen We could have had it all 😭. But the F1are project group Koreans fans are making with contestants is currently doing numbers in Korea. Like surpassed ALD1 By miles engagement wise. Think this will be a very global group over Korean group

Even the stage and member charisma couldn’t save the NB2H song for me, it’s giving Permission to Dance energy, sorry 😅 Brat Attitude was such a moment tho. Final lineup isn’t tragic but I’d swap Junseo, Sanghyeon and Geonwoo for Donggyu, Junmin and Kangmin in a sec. but I’ll still stan if the music eats. Anyway, loved following this journey with you Micah, thank you!

Which is ironic bc Donggyu was the Pledis trainee that didn’t make it into TWS [could never picture him in that group]. Rumor has it that Sanghyeon could have been the 6th member of cortis bc in their behind documentary someone is blurred out and Sanghyeon was a HYBE trainee till last year.

WHAT IF WE COULD GO BACK TO ANOTHER LIFE FR!! I feel like everyone was praying for Junmin and Donggyu to get in, but not a lot of people actually had them as their one pick. I also saw more Junmin one picks than Donggyu one picks, which reflects in their ranking at the end. You don't understand how the rumors of Yumeki fans apparently spending $200,000 just for him to debut had my blood BOILING!! I genuinely thought we were so cooked, especially when the Interim ranking came out, Sangwon was 2nd and there was news spreading that P01 was a "unexpected foreigner". I genuinely thought Yumeki broke into the TOP2 .. I was SO glad when I didn't hear his name at ALL and he didn't show up as the top8 candidates, like FUCK YESSS!! I really hope this group does well and I want their bonds to grow more. I want more Sangwon & Xinlong content and I heard that they are roommates apparently! The kside is so upset (which ... for no reason honestly? You got Sanghyeon, Geonwoo and Sangwon, stop crying!) I think they are just really upset about Liyu (are you serious..) and I know they've been trying to push a group named F1are with the other eliminated contestants and it's been making some noise. In my opinion, this is like the only survival show for me where BOTH international and korean fans are genuinely upset. Even in the produce rigged shows, all of it was usually voted by Koreans so they would usually be happy no matter what. I am surprised as to how much divide this has caused? I expected the k-side to be upset but not this mad.

Wait I YAPPED SO HARD but I genuinely need to add one thing else. I was a Jiahao one pick for all of boys planet and I was for sure going to make Jiahao my bias in this group if he got in the group (which he did). HOWEVER, that speech that Xinlong did literally melted my heart SOOO fast. I genuinely never fell in love with an idol THAT fast because of ONE speech. I don't know, but it did something to me and I just immediately started rewatching his fancams, even in BOY STORY. Now, I am going into ALD1 as a Xinlong bias and a Jiahao wrecker. Crazy how one thing could change so much lol

My pick was sangwon, so I was good with whoever would make it, except for yumeki (sorry..). I like the debut group and feel that they will have more to offer beyond the stress and pressure of a survival show. I also felt like Anxin didn't give us anything in his performances, but this episode makes me realize he must be so much livelier than we think. He seems close to every trainee, and his reactions are always bubbly and outgoing. I also believe that when he gets more fluent in Korean, he will make a great variety candidate. Anyway, I'm excited for their debut and pray they have good songs. Thank you for reacting to this, and I enjoyed watching all your reactions. You always know when to skip, and that's why you are the best channel lol

What’s really annoying me, is the amount of people on twitter unhappy with the lineup tryna say “poor sanghyeon stuck with these boys” or “free sanghyeon” when i’m sorry but everyone else in the lineup showed me more to work with than him. But damn yeah i actually was heartbroken for donggyu he worked his ass off for what?

not everyone tearing up/crying in their speeches and then there's anxin having fun with the group name🤣 i really just need his personality to show more on stage bc he's such a ball of sunshine but so loud and chaotic in behind the scenes videos i have hope that with time, they'll have good synergy with each other, both on and off stage. i think they already look visually cohesive. all i want is good music from them😭

Just want to say Leo gives the best hugs, it felt like he's the link between the members lol I'm actually happy with this lineup overall especially after seeing their live yesterday they're so funny and chaotic together. Sad though about Kangmin, Junmin, and Donggyu, but I wish them all the best. All the trainees gained so much traction from this show so I hope their companies use it well. Lowkey also happy Liyu and Yumeki are not in the final lineup

Heartbroken about Junmin and Donggyu but then I remembered Donggyu is in IST with my baby Arctic, Rensho and Sihwan- who were all fairly memorable and promising trainees to me (i would have loved Arctic as Maknae:,) ) - so i‘m hopefull!!!!

I’ve loved watching this with you. As I’ve known Kangmin for years from him MCing on show champion with Moonbin and Sanha he was my one pick. And he REALLY stole my heart on this. So sad he didn’t make it. I hope Verivery gains more fans from him but I really wish he’d debuted again here as he’s so young still. Btw I have been watching Veriverys MVs so I can see more of him - and just realised you did a reaction to them 3 years ago. You really liked O and their dancing. Kangmin was still in his teens then - and sooo talented. Hope more opportunities open up for him now.

Decided to copy past part of a comment I left under a different video here since I think it's more relevant to the finale. I'm a bit behind and catching up on all the boys2planet reactions of yours is so fun 😁 (I have added a bunch more commentary here though, so sorry, I am partial to writing entire essays in patreon comment sections) One of the major problems I actually have with the show is how useless the judges are. We hardly get to see any of their feedback and they feel more ornamental than anything if I'm being honest. Also all the guest presenters were so unnecessary. I did not have to watch San read random names for 3 hours. The show wasted so much runtime on dragging out those elimination episodes and unnecessary sidequests (eg. that fuckass dog, like, I'm happy there was an emotional support animal on set, but I have no clue why that dog got more screentime than several contestants.) Mnet continues to have TOO MANY contestants, biting off far more than they can chew, and the show was boring because of it. The Top 10 was roughly the same throughout the entire season and you had little chance to form an emotional connection to many other talented contestants since outside of the main characters of the season, your screentime is shared with 30-40 other contestants. The entire concept of a survival show would fare so much better if it only had about 30 contestants. (I'm thinking of I-LAND or LOUD that are good examples of this) Mnet's picks were really obvious this season. I'm glad some of them didn't make it (Liyu and Masato) and the final lineup is so much better than I could have hoped for. Especially considering both Jiahao and Xinlong made it I was overjoyed. (Also I just discovered Jiahao's stagename is going to be ARNO?! I'm horrified, it's giving Sesame street) The one thing this group lacks imo is a VOICE that I love. Throughout the season there were not that many contestants that stood out to me vocally but Chen Bowen, Yoonmin, Andrew, Leo, Jiang Fan and Haneum were all quite good, Hengyu too, but he seemed to have a bit of a habit of biting off more than he could chew vocally, although that might have also just been due to how the show makes people ultra desperate and competitive. The line distribution was honestly quite ridiculous for a lot of the songs. When you look at TVXQ's rising sun, the main vocal moments are shared between different members, but in BP2 they really made the main vocal have 56% of the lines, which is absolute insanity. It baffled me a bit that only one of them got into the final lineup. But I'm glad Leo didn't get separated from Sangwon. I honestly feel a strange sense of relief now that all the Trainee A members have debuted. Also, is this a safe space to say I never understood the hype around Anxin? He sounds like a little lamb when he sings (especially the "Breathe" stage) and he's pretty but he doesn't have that magnetising effect that eg. his friend and lablemate Jiahao has imo. Junseo actually has a decent amount of stage presence and as a fan of WEi for a while, he will do just fine here too. Also love that another boykisser made it into the lineup, I just know WAKEONE is mad about that behind the scenes haha. And Sanghyeon...I keep forgetting about him. I can't remember a single moment in the show where he truely stood out to me if I'm being honest. I kept thinking "who is that" whenever I saw him ranked so high. I presume he is going to be the group's rapper? Donggyu and Junmin not making the final lineup sucked, especially since Donggyu's company is going to throw him straight back into their training dungeon, but the idea of him and Arctic ending up in the same group makes me happy, so I'm not tooo disappointed. I'm personally so glad that Yunseo didn't make it. He was definitely one of the more professional and debut-ready trainess, but it's such a joy seeing a new group debut without ANY minors. Kaiwen was amazing too but he was never really given a proper moment to shine on the show. The first time i really noticed him was during the position battle stages when they were choosing who would be the main dancer for the Yumeki choreo. His facial expressions and dancelines were wonderful, as is to be expected from a trainee from Lay's company ^^ I'm so happy Yumeki didn't make the group, it would have been such a loss to have his choreographing skills go to waste for 5 whole years locked in a contract with Wakeone. I honestly feel like this about Bailey and Emma from BADVILLAIN too, it feels like such an aura-loss to go from being famous and at the top of your field to being, well, a random kpop idol. I just wish certain people had been able to stay on the show a bit longer instead of the Masatos and the Liyu's of this season. And it's such a shame how many C-trainees were cut almost immediately. I would have liked to have Chen Bowen or Jiang Fan's voice on some of those BPII songs when I listen to them. (Overall the quality of the song picks both for the covers and for the originals this season was terrible, especially those Finale songs... and don't get me started on the absolute trainwreck that is the signal song. The signal test episode in general was such a boring experience. It would be far more interesting if trainees were allowed to pick any part of the song and interpret it within their skillset and perform it. Eg. rappers can write a verse, dancers can make some choreo, singers can rearrange/ harmonise/ do ANYTHING OTHER than make us watch countless people struggle to perform the same bit of choreo with the same section of a boring song. It's just not entertaining at all.

jiahao is an INSANE dancer, the way he moves is just mesmerising 😭 im so glad he made the final lineup, from P19 to P5 !! hopefully we get a lot of cool dance stages in the future. shotaro and jiahao are my fave 5th gen dancers

I won’t lie, at first I didn’t think I would end up stanning this group, even though my pick debuted. But over time, through variety shows and everything, I realized I couldn’t imagine a better lineup than the one we have now. I’m really proud of myself for not listening to my doubts and deciding to stan them🥹🙏
