In this episode of Anatomy of a Song, I’m spending time with two of my favourite dreamy B-sides of 2025: RESCENE’s “Crash” and KIIIKIII’s “Strawberry Cheesecake.”We strip both tracks back and listen to their textures, melodies, and atmospheres, reacting to the small details that make them feel so hazy, soft, and emotionally immersive. From the floaty production to the delicate vocal choices, this episode is less about critique and more about appreciating why these songs linger long after they end.

Re No

I can't wait to watch this video tonight since these are also two of my favorite tracks from 2025. I'll comment again after watching it. Thank you for your work Micah 💚

YESSS omg it’s one thing to listen to instrumentals and acapellas but something else to hear them picked apart and put back together like this! Almost feels like getting to listen to the songs for the first time again I looove it. And you worked some magic on Strawberry Cheesegame it’s such an airy song, taking out the drums gave space for the more beautiful aspects it sounded incredible

Loved this!!! The way I didnt expect this to be delivered so quick when I mentioned it like 2 WEEKS AGO!!! Crash does have a slight edge for me cause of the whole nostalgic factor but both songs are masterpieces nonetheless!!!!
