How do 3 boy groups headline all 3 days? LOL, smells funny to me!

My favourite thing about performances is seeing those I'm not as familiar with perform in a different setting. It's probably why the main headliners didn't stimulate me much, I've seen their concerts many times so this doesn't really do much for me although I still enjoyed.

But THEN you have a group like Kickflip who were probably the strongest performers on all 3 days. They were HUNGRY and locked IN. Great steady LIVE vocals and great energy choreo wise. Even with songs I didn't love, they woke me up and set the bar too high I fear.

This was so much fun!! Never would've been interested to watch even HALF of these performances if it wasn't for you sgjsgmkmdlhjd so used to groups/artists just using kcon as another musicbank performance but enjoyed thisss Yes kickflip was def one of my favs from the performances. They've gotten better at live singing, and even though Juwang had struggled recently (think he was overusing his voice/needed vocal rest, but also probably wasn't sleeping well and I'm sure his diet defo didnt help) but I think the rest he got helped. The energy I get from them these days is like they are fighting to be recognised (tryna escape nugudom lmao), but that hunger manages to translate well in a performance. Honestly, was a big nct ult before and since Mark left I haven't been as curious to watch them tbh, especially since his voice and execution is just so distinct and not easy to cover. Though seeing them here definitely ignited something back. Taeyong did a great job covering his parts, and I was impressed that him and Johnny swapped parts too. Definitely agree with the energy difference/vibe change in Taeyong. I'm sure returning from the military changed him, but also with both Mark and Ten leaving sm (and Doyoung and Jungwoo away in the military) I'm sure things don't feel the same. He must be carrying a lot as leader, and I almost get the vibe that he seems forced to have to stay in sm just to keep things together. Idk I get the vibe of him as someone exhausted from sacrificing so much of himself. Anyways enough of my psychoanalysis of a man on a screen jsgjshkh Was also feeling weird about Yuta's live singing. On one hand, I always LOVE live singing, and it always brings so much more in a performance, whether they do or don't sing 'perfectly'. But this time Yuta's singing defo sounded uncomfortable, and his placement was quite throaty. The moment you compared him to Jihyo I was stunned - that's so true!! Random, but in my eyes a "perfect" lineup for 127 is the current 5 but with Mark and Doyoung (sorry Hung-woo, though you could swap him and Johnny tbh). And not you seeing Siwon in Jinyoung?? And tell me why you're so right???? ASGPJDIHIDHI. Right wing 1000% Also, Jungeun is a STAR! Honestly always impressed watching her. Gives me Chungha energy sometimes honestly. Imo initially when Chungha was in ioi she wasn't always completely locked in performance-wise, but as she grew more experienced she became more confident and bolder. Though, seeing the Chungha from produce was weird because it was almost like she became a bit more timid once debuting? Anyways in the same way I feel this about Jungeun. Though she defo has strong moments when she debuted, she's truly shining sm more now. Though seeing Izna cover BP and justt imagining Jiyoon with them ughhh her voice would've been so good with them!! Also, Theo???? Almost forgot how good that guy is. WHEEEEW And hearing TXT's 0x1 lovesong again truly awakened something in me. Forgot how much I loved that song. Oh and random but! Would you watch (offscreen ofc) Kickflip's cover of God's menu? not even so much for the performance but just that Donghwa's fit and styling is NIIIIIICEEE loool, anyways thank you and sorry for my essay ahahaha

Looved this and it was so easy to read! What you said about Taeyong is TEA and tbh it does read that way! Also like he's outgrown NCT a little. OMG Jungeun being like Chungha is soo similar too!! And yeah it may watch it off camera tbh

These lineups always seem too light on girl groups and I agree not one girl group headliner in 3 days is egregious!! On a selfish note though I love to see ZB1 continue at KCON because they've never done a proper tour so they end up turning KCON into their mini concerts each year. I liked their set overall although Slam Dunk is certainly A Choice to perform when they could do so many different ones. And your "absolutely not" when Doctor Doctor started is killing me lmaoooo

I just rewatched and i don't know if i agree. I skipped the terrible songs they picked that I dislike (dr dr, exotic, slam dunk) whilst i did top 5, zero to hundred, sexyback and even most of v for vision which i dont like much either.
