I've seen this season before, but it's been years and I don't remember a lot of the details, so this is fun to watch it again. I gotta admit, I'm totally in on this season. Oh, as far as the gum, I hadn't ever really thought about it before, but it would make sense that hotel owners wouldn't want gum in their vending machine - people are disgusting and stick their gum on stuff, it's hard to clean, imagine getting it out of carpet... But that makes it a good clue, at least as far as the daughter's concerned, because it's something very much out of the ordinary and implicates a vending machine stock person they hadn't seen before.

I’m enjoying this rewatch of S4 - it’s been a long time and each actor/character that pops up is a nice surprise again. Regarding the books - I found them enjoyable although not in the same way as the show. They are written by Rob Thomas, so that helps. I agree that it makes sense to just read them on their own. I’m so glad you’re doing this season!

Personally, I’m loving this season so far. I don’t understand why people don’t like it. Also; I still don’t like Logan and V together. They have such a toxic dynamic- always have.

Yes, that's J.K.Simmons, but I know him mostly from Spider-Man movies, the original movies with Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man, Simmons played J. Jonah Jameson in these movies who hated Spider-Man and thought that Spider-Man is evil, but also was a boss of Peter Parker, not knowing that Peter is actually Spider-Man lmao
