Still behind because I was out on vacation, but can't wait to catch up with two episodes! 💙

James B.

The guy who plays Victor is AMAZING at impressions.

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

Enver Gjokaj and Alan Tudyk both incredible actors with wonderfully expressive faces. Even Paul's FBI friend with the white knight reference. Definitely a lot of parallels going on. I'm going to start calling these Overthink Thursdays😉

That fight scene was so good, then that twist!

Everybody on this show is a fantastic actor but Enver Gjokaj is just so goddamn amazing at impersonating other people, other characters. It's uncanny. Takes some serious talent to do that; I wish I saw more of him as an actor. Granted, I can say that last bit about most of the cast lol

You can tell Alpha is crazy because he didn't need to be naked in that dumpster at the beginning of the episode yet he was.

SunnydaleClassof99

Any guesses on what Paul's trophies are that he's packing up when he's "leaving"? Model UN? Mathlete? Water Polo?

RNR

Omg I love this show so much 🥲

Such a great episode that really plays on fan's familiarity with Joss Whedon's work. Casting a recognizable & beloved face for Kepler is a great way to disguise the reveal coming at the end. Alan does such a great job selling the idea of this stoned, paranoid recluse. I'm sure there are people who saw it coming. I've yet to encounter one. For my money it's a top tier twist. The engagement we see at the beginning is ingenious. Using the future "better version" of someone to heal the broken one. As altruistic as it is though it's hard not to see the sinister implication of it. The first time Paul meets Adelle didn't disappoint either. Paul has a lot to be upset about with his life being turned completely upside down. Olivia gives a strong performance with her scorn turned up to 11. Very excited to close at the season with the last two episodes. I'm going to miss the longer episodes we got this season. Fox's "Remote-Free TV experiment with certain shows having less commercials & an extra 6 minutes only lasted this one season.

This episode just hit the gas and said hold on we are hitting all the plot points! Absolutely thrilled to see you make it to the Alpha reveal. The cast is already stacked with so many talented actors and then Alan Tudyk comes in and just knocks it out of the park. His turn from funny, anxious sidekick to cold, menacing psycho was seriously such an amazing and brilliant story moment. We had to wait awhile to see the Alpha stuff payoff, but this made it worth it.

The two week waits between these reactions is so hard because the show is getting so good. This episode is legit hilarious but yet also tense and has mind blowing twists. And the acting is phenomenal all the way around too. The way it brings all of the storylines together at the end not just for this episode but for the whole season is brilliant. It was written by Jane Espenson who wrote some of the funniest episodes of Buffy like Band Candy, harsh light of day, pangs, superstar, the replacement, triangle, intervention, and others. She was like the go to for comedy on Buffy and she delivers the comedy in this one. Watching reactions to this show is one of my favorites because you can see the reactors mind get blown in real time and you didn’t disappoint Darcie

i love Alan Tudyk so much.

Enver Gjokaj is such an underrated actor. Like, yeah, he's cute, but a lot of actors are cute. But his ability to capture other people's mannerisms is INSANE.

I love this episode. Everyone has pretty much said all the things. It's just amazing start to finish. There was one bit I was surprised you didn't catch yet, but they were hitting you with so much information and twists that it's more than understandable. I can't wait to see how you react when it's revealed in tomorrow's reaction! I'm wishing it was a few hours later already so I could watch it. I have no idea how you're coping with not binging it. Lol. However I did watch it in real time, so I understand, but it's just so darn good! I'm torn between trying to catch up on charmed or going to bed like a responsible adult who has to be up early. Lol. If I didn't have things to do I'd spend all night catching up on everything and then watch the next dollhouse before going to bed. 😅😅 I'm so grateful for your channel. 💜

Finally catching up on these. i went from vacation to busy at work to an injury. I was so here for your facial expressions to the Alpha reveal! Such a jam packed episode that flowed so well with the fairytale tying it all together. So excited to catch up on these with you!
