The first 1st snowfall of the show--so magical. I grew up in California and then moved across the country about a year and a half ago, where I experienced my first ever snow in a place where I live. I find it so gorgeous and peaceful and ethereal. But my best friend/roommate? Hates it. But he grew up having to deal with it, so very different experience I suppose haha I've only experienced two snow-filled winters but it genuinely is my favorite time of year in terms of weather. Summer? Trash. Uncomfortable, overheated, humid, makes me want to rip my skin off and/or lose all sensation in my body just so I don't have to feel literally anything. Hate summer

Alec, Seeker of Shine Sprites

Lorelai somehow manages to find that sweet spot of being super sweet and sentimental but also sarcastic and spiteful. It’s not a balance so easily found. Makes her one of my favorite tv characters of all time. Like this show actually made it believable that the whole town loves her and her daughter. Without somehow making it feel like a hallmark movie. I also too stay up late when it’s snowing just to watch it fall. My family couldn’t give less of a crap about it lol

First: I loved that sneaky it takes two reference lol Second: you saying the snow looked horrible is so funny haha. Reminds me of watching the Santa clause last Christmas and having this realization that the snow must be real because it looked so gross and slushy on the roads lol. Filmed in the GTA apparently 😂

I'm not a winter person, but as a New Englander I have to confess there really is magic in that first snowfall of the year. I do very much enjoy standing in the living room with a cup of hot cocoa just watching it fall. And I always want that first one to be a REAL snowfall, not a little dusting or some under an inch nonsense. I wasn't sure I was going to like this show, and it's definitely not my favorite, but I'm enjoying it. It manages to be sweet without being saccharine, and not everything can be Agents of Shield, lol.

I LOVE snow! It truly is magical! I used to live in the mountains when I was little, and I was always ready to go sledding and skiing, bundled up in warm coats and beanies. Then, when I got older, I knew I wasn't a summer girl and that I always longed for Fall and Winter, naturally having coats in my closet, so I moved to places that had cold weather and snow. I wake up and feel blissfully happy when it snows where I live.

Connecticut is a beautiful, snowy, magical wonderland in the winter. Definitely helped the incredible date Lorelai and Max had! Although my heart breaks for Luke in this episode!
