God bless the Andrew Garfield cinematic universe

I love Friday’s lmao. I really enjoy how different this Dalek story is from the rest we’ve seen. They’re not in power, they have to hide away because their power is basically running out. Also extra depression points because these are the same Daleks from Doomsday, so in the Doctor’s eyes it’s almost like Rose’s sacrifices was for nothing. I’m glad you’re noticing how much the visuals improved from the first two series. Those are still good (particularly the future episodes) but man they really nailed things this go around. Also I like how the Doctor keeps extending Martha’s tripe. “It’s just one trip” “okay one more” and then this time it’s not even mentioned. Stop kidding yourself Doctor lol.

One of the things I love about watching reactors, which is a relatively new thing for me, is the open minded positivity they often bring to episodes that are maybe not the most well liked by certain sections of the dyed in the wool fandom. I listen to a good few Doctor Who podcasts (less now than I used to, because this has kind of replaced that) and a lot of them, especially ones hosted by older, classic era fans, can be so dismissive, and set in their opinions

So many British people doing American accents. lol

It’s so weird watching you react to a show I actually remember watching as a child. Like, I remember when Dalek Sek first emerged from his cocoon and him saying “I am a huuuman daaalek.” in that weird Manhattan/Alien accent is permanently etched into my brain 😭 even though I think the reveal was actually spoiled on the “Next Time” preview from the previous ep lmaooo And when the Doctor slowly realised it was the Daleks, first with the blob which turned out to be from Skaro, to then actually seeing them and he SEETHES “They survived. They always survive, while I lose everything.” 😭 because she was everything

Can’t tell if the “Well LOOK who it is” is about the Daleks or ANDREWWW It’s also been a startling realisation for me of just how much of my personality is moulded off of David Tennant as The Doctor 😭

It's weird to see a show set on my birthday. Usually shows base their plots on the day before my birthday.
