I remember this is where the show hooked me because I HAD to press play on the next episode to see what happens next lol. Lauren Graham (Lorelai) is kind of amazing acting wise just gonna say. Every time she gets upset, or has to display emotion of any kind it is so god damn believable.

They might not of meant to do it, but they still stayed out all night. Go for your coffee then head home! Don’t lie down! I don’t mind Dean calling Tristan out, he had it coming but yelling “I’ll kill you, idiot!” For the entire school to hear was a massive red flag. I’m honestly surprised no teachers jumped in there!

TV sleepers all act like they popped Ambien and downed it with a vodka chaser. First time I'm with someone I'm waking up every half hour, and going "Ugh, they're making the bed hot" or "Where do I put my arm? I have no idea where to put my arm!"

I love the ending of this episode. It just summarizes not only everybody's outlook on things but also how each generation of Gilmore women effects the other. The trickling down of trauma very quickly turns into a waterfall by the end of this and it's acted so flawlessly Definitely one of the better more dramatic scenes of the series. I think this is the one that hooks people and gives them a glimpse at how thought out the characters are

Stars Hollow is a fictitious little town in Connecticut, USA! I actually grew up exactly where Stars Hollow is supposed to be on the map, in a tiny little town just like Stars Hollow! I had the best childhood there, and the community was so great! This show reminds me of everything I love about it! All of the seasons, the holidays, town functions, and all of the crazy people who were all like family... it was the best! I went to public school, not private, and the way dances worked in my school were... after the last home football game, we'd have a homecoming dance at the school with no dinner, drinks only. The prom came in the spring, and it was a much more formal affair. The girls' dresses were fancier, and the guys wore tuxedos! It was held in the banquet hall of a hotel, with a plated dinner of beef or chicken served. It was usually not very good, so we'd all end up going to the diner for something to eat after the prom was over! Always, there was an obligatory photo taken of you with your date, that were always terrible and cost way too much money! The big event of the night was to announce who the prom king and queen and their court were! Otherwise, just a lot of slow dances with my heels left at the table! Oh, the memories!!!

Yeah for dances at my school, it was held somewhere in town and we just rent 2 big rooms. It wasn’t the best place and they would have dessert snacks and drinks but that’s it. My friends and I used to go out to dinner beforehand

Man Emily is a like a coiled serpent ready to strike. As soon as she sees any perceived misstep from Lorelai whatever warmth she had in her evaporates. I understand that they're similar in a lot of ways but I think at their core Lorelai isn't capable of the spite that Emily has. I think that's enough to make them very different people.
