I really appreciate the way this show handles its drama. Like you said the breakup was realistic. No one did anything wrong, they just realized it was getting too hard the way things are right now. Also did I mention Lauren Graham’s (Lorelai’s) amazing acting? Because I’m gonna mention it every time lol.

I have a bunny! He does free roam around my house but I have a cage for his litter box, food and toys. He's potty trained too and actually prefers sleeping in his cage at night but the door is always open. 10/10 recommend, they are so fun

Lorelai getting cold feet makes perfect sense from a psyche standpoint but I kinda really hate that she asked Rory to give Max his book back AND that she was going to miss a school event just to avoid him. The avoidance feels immature and totally unfair to Rory, but this show wouldn't have such a following if each character were perfect and flawless

I also love the bit of depth we get from Paris here. We see how shitty her life is so she does a shitty thing in retaliation to gain some control back in her life and then apologizes when she realizes how shitty a thing it was to do. Growth for the one and only Paris Gellar

I love when lorelai answers rorys question with “because im human” - i think it perfectly sums up the show. AND I love how you can feel the chemistry between max and lorelai but you can also feel a subtle awkwardness. But every time luke and lorelai are on screen together the tension and chemistry is palpable, even with the most mundane conversations 🔥 Luke comes on screen and i totally forget about max

What could've been the "Becky and Norman Adventures" lol

Great episode that provides insight about how Lorelai is with romantic relationships. She's such a fierce character who forged her own path to raise Rory. Beneath all her armour is a lot of scars from how she grew up. It's not surprising that she would have a pattern of cutting things off before they got too serious & avoid getting hurt. These scenes with her & Max don't feel phony. So often in movies & shows that how they feel or just contrivances to move the plot in another direction. It's so grounded & human & authentic.

It's nice to see Sookie getting some focus here with a potential budding relationship. A lot of her character is tied to Lorelai (which is great) but she deserves a plot that isn't tied entirely to that.

Paris' smug smile as she casually sets fire to so many people's lives is something. Nice to see Rory standing up to her once again. It's good that she's not a pushover. It's also good that she shows the empathy that she does.

I'm way late to this video and just catching up, but I wanted to chime in and say that I think "Bagel" and "Butter" would be excellent bunny names.
