SEASON 2, BABY! Can't believe the final season is already here! I know we get about 3-4 episodes a month but it feels like you just started this haha

Preaching to the Horse's Mouth

While talking to Whiskey/Doc Saunders after the rat practical joke Gopher says "I know what I know" the same phrase he repeated during his breakdown with Adele in 1x13🤔

And we're back! Adele with the new haircut, Boyd adjusting to his new role, Victor getting his face repaired and Paul using Echo to settle an old score. Not nearly enough Sierra, but it was a packed episode and we at least got that sweet moment with her and Victor at the end. That said, the Whiskey/Topher stuff in this episode was the best. Their scenes were just absolutely brilliant and very much needed after the big reveal at the end of the first season. They both seem to be in the middle of an identity crisis and it is so messy, but wonderful to watch. Amy Acker and Fran Kranz just owned all their scenes here.

There is also an unaired pilot for dollhouse

Great first episode. As much as I like Eliza, and like you said she was great flipping between the personalities, I’m glad that the show has evolved into more of an ensemble. The show has come so far from the early days of it being “the Eliza show” where it’s mostly just an engagement of the week, and it’s done that in less than 10 episodes total. The evolution is crazy. The Dr. Saunders identity crisis scenes in this episode are fantastic and Fran and Amy just kill it. The philosophical questions this show asks are really deep and interesting.

This a good episode. It's a slight letdown coming off the season 1 finale. I realize that's not entirely fair considering that the finale pretty much upendeds everything. The concept is interesting. We have an Active assuming the imprint of an FBI agent who is undercover. So we have Caroline>Echo>Undercover FBI Agent>Roma all stacked up, not to mention all the other imprints we have at the end. That A plot though is completely overshadowed by the B plot of Dr. Saunders coming to terms with her existence. Her confrontation with Topher in his nap room is so well written & performed. Everything else falls away. Yes, this is a sci-fi show but this feels so achingly real. This is our second glimpse of deeper within Topher after his birthday engagement with Sierra. It's great that we're getting more insight into what makes him tick. So yeah this a good episode. I still treasure it though because we only have 26 episodes overall. I've harped endlessly about how underappreciated & to some extent misunderstood I feel this show was. So even good episodes probably rare higher for me because of that.

"We are lost, but we are not gone." That is one of my favorite quotes from this entire series. Tere's so much I want to point out, but I can't because spoilers. It's so frustrating waiting. Lol. Idk how you manage! I'd low-key binge it all and release them slowly, because I wouldn't be able to wait. 😅😅 Good thing I'm not the reactor! Eagerly awaiting the next one!

This is a PSA: punching someone in the head that already has a concussion will never improve their condition.

And now I'm only one episode away from being caught up! For just a minute, I was like wait does Darcie not recognize Wesley? lol. Adele's haircut is one of the best transformations I've seen from gorgeous to super gorgeous.
