I like Rachel, I think the big difference from Christopher is that she doesn’t have a kid lol. As we can see she’s a world traveler which just doesn’t seem like Luke’s type of thing so you can more so see the divide there rather than an absentee father. I feel bad for both Rory and Dean I think. We don’t often see Dean get super sentimental so it makes sense that when he let his guard down and was essentially punched in the gut he reacted a little bad. And Rory definitely has trauma with saying I love you to people. Again look at her father, she loves him and he’s literally always disappointing her and letting her down. And Lorelai continues to be the funniest person in the room at all times lol

I think people forgot to tell you that Christopher’s actor sucks more than Christopher. He doesn’t think women should vote, and you look like the type of person that probably doesn’t feel the same way.

I think Dean was getting ahead of himself and moving too quickly for Rory, I mean it’s 3 months together. His upset would be understandable if they were together way longer but Rory is also able to be cautious of her feelings as well.

And wow, that rando Emily tried to set Lorelai up with could pull off both immeasurably haughty while also being mind-numbingly amounts of boring. That takes true talent that I have never been able to see be replicated to that level. Love the moment between Lorelai and Richard though. Such a small yet sweet moment of bonding between the two

Dean overreacts a bit but I think it's pretty normal for dumb high school kid to react that way. I'd wager it's probably the first time he said that to someone that's not his parents. So yeah he doesn't handle it great. I think it's pretty realistic though.

I was so team Dean when I watched the show live, and was sad that I'd be opposing you as you were on team-Anyone-But-Dean. But I forgot about this moment where he was forcing her to say "I love you" back. Hopefully he redeems himself and I'm not just a big ole dolt.
