Another fantastic episode for Enver Gjokaj. Like I said back when he was imprinted with Dominic, Enver is just SO GOOD at embodying others. It takes so much talent to do that! He's just so transformative; it's always such a great time to watch him perform

His uncle would have looked cooler with an eye patch.

I really need to learn to comment AFTER watching the reaction in its entirety, that way I don't flood the comment section just with my own posts. I just get too excited haha BUT! Second and last comment (in theory, because I have yet to learn and am still watching the reaction). I haven't watched this episode in so long--I completely forgot about the parallels here between the Terry's victims and the actives in the dollhouse. I've always really enjoyed this show but it's always so nice to be rewatching and realizing new complexity to the story and/or its characters Also, that scene of Victor dancing as Kiki (specifically the high five into the spin into the drop down) was something I used all the time back in my Tumblr days haha. It made for a great reaction gif to so many things. Hoping to whip it out again once a certain inevitable person in power gets to the end of their line--would feel very fitting lol

I thought it was interesting to see the topics of when Paul was interrogating Victor, as Terry, and how he sees women. The effect they have, compared to the professor talking to Kiki about Chaucer, with how women hold the power.

Victor as Kiki in the club for the win! Enver is such a good actor. When I watched your video on Season 1 of Agent Carter everytime Enver was on screen I was just like, that’s Victor, give him more stuff to do! lol This is one of my favorite stand alone stories. So twisty and interesting with the remote wipes and the body switching.

Eeek, I'm totally caught up! Victor as Kiki for the win. For a minute, I thought I remembered my best friend's roommate freshman year was named Kiki. Similar party girl, not nearly as giggly airheaded, but definitely could see likenesses. But damn, her name was Kimi. Infamous line from Kimi talking on the phone: "Mom, do you think I came here for an education?" Still remember that from 35 years ago lol. We got some alcohol from Kimi, I also remember that. Can I just say how much I love this show? It's so thought-provoking and the characters are so rich with depth.

The Dollhouse stylist is played by Matt Winston. His father is the legendary special effects genius Stan Winston. Matt is a fantastic character actor. He's been in so many things but my favorite performance of his is in the short-lived HBO series John from Cincinnati.

I think this is a fantastic episode. It's an engagement of the week like we got early on in season one. Now though we know the characters so much more which I think makes a difference. More importantly they add a few wrinkles to the idea which really spices things up.

I love Paul having to sit in the chair with the other handler during the makeover process like he's shopping at the mall with his wife.

Paul interrogating Terry while Adelle watched on had a great moment. We here his voice while the shot is right on her: "At some point, you decided real people weren't worth it. You pushed them away, alienated everyone in your life so you could surround yourself with the fakes, the copies. It made you feel like you had some control. You're not in control." Adelle is rightly pleased with how the interrogation is going. For as smart as she is it completely eludes her how that applies to her.

One of my favourite episodes! The acting is good, the writing is good. One particular moment I greatly appreciate is the call back to season one's finale. In this episode we see Topher beginning to contemplate his part in everything: "I would need to get him to answer the phone." So simple you don't even think anything about it. Not even his original idea, alpha did it first. To then the season 1 finale: "And then the war has two sides, those who answered the phone and those who didn't... Did I think of that?! Did I?" Something so simple, but so tragic.

I immediately recognized the passport to Paris guy as Hannah Montana’s stylist in the pilot ep
