Will edit later with a real comment but AAAAAAAHHHHHHH was not expecting this!!! Edit: Such a good episode honestly. I feel like this is the first time we really see why 16 year old Lorelai would’ve left this environment. It was just pure toxic. Like it’s a bit glossed over, but Emily literally made fun of this poor girl’s head so much that at 7 years old she decided to burn her baby pictures. Rachel continues to be an enjoyable presence, which is so refreshing for an ex girlfriend character. Also something about her gives me gender envy so that’s fun lol

I love this episode so much, the writing is just so good (many such cases for GG). Emily is such an incredible character and Kelly Bishop just injects so much believability into every turn. There's a lot of times where she (and pretty much every character) are their own biggest obstacle and I always think that makes for compelling TV. Thanks for working overtime to get both this and the double Charmed out today, it's so appreciated (but never an obligation)

I don’t know if you are a reader, but i just finished Kelly Bishop’s (Emily) book called The Third Gilmore Girl and it was the best memoir i have read in a while!! She is so iconic and an incredible woman! Highly recommend the audiobook because she narrates it - and no spoilers for the show in the book 🙃
